  1. The three customers were left to the wind. The captain had to know they could be blown a distance, crash into the water, objects, etc. The other two are lucky to be alive. I hope they recover. That "captain" shouldn't even be allowed to sail a toy boat in his bathtub.

  2. Her victim lost his legs, and she's complaining. Maybe cut off one of her legs, so she can feel half the pain of the person she hit. I was hit by a drunk driver (driving my car) a decade ago. Fortunately, I didn't lose any limbs, but it's not something you really ever get over.

  3.  @samiam3334  Private or not, I stand by the statement. If a private citizen shoots and kills someone in California, the posts will start blaming Newsom and Pelosi for rampant crime. If a private citizen shoots and kills someone in Florida, nobody is posting blaming DeSantis, even though Florida has a higher homicide rate per capita than California. Saying that the politicians didn't kill these people is immaterial. This is my point.

  6. $1 million divided between 150 condo owners isn't bad, if it prevents a collapse. The residents in Surfside were facing $100,000 special assessments per condo. Things get delayed and we saw what happened. Anyway, all these potential fees and problems sure isn't a selling point. I wouldn't be buying a Florida condo, especially a high-rise.
