The whole British cabinet should pack their bags and send themselves to the front line of Afghanistan, I am sure they have the support of the British people.
278
We are pampered Alexander with your ''brief'' video of 40 mins, lol. No, I mean I do love these comprehensive daily reports.
272
China indicated if the US (and Russia) agrees to reduce its nukes down to China's level, we might be able to start talking. It is not an unreasonable request.
228
We Chinese don't take anything the US says seriously anymore, in fact, does anyone else take them seriously anymore?
205
Every country should disregard every US unilateral sanction against countries which is a crime against humanity and these sanctions are literally killing people.
200
When will the US/West learn that poking China in the eye and humiliating China in public style of school yard bully tactics do NOT work on China, it has never worked before and it will never work in the future, the West is either pretending not to understand this or simply too arrogant to bother to learn about this.
191
The US has no shame and credibility.
184
I feel for the French, but this is the cost one has to pay sometimes being an ally of the US, this is not the first time it got stabbed in the back. Despite this, I am sure France will remain a faithful ally, you know because of the ''shared values'' bs.
158
The US had better get used to be ''snubbed'' by China.
149
The US is only using Vietnam for its geopolitical goal, and we have just seen how it abandoned its allies in Afghanistan, who in their right mind would trust a dying empire, again.
142
Most countries and their leaders know the USA can not be trusted and is the biggest force of instability and destructions on earth.
135
Another victory of China against the miserably underhanded and rogue behaviour of the Anglo empires. I wonder how much debts will the US be asking China to buy this time round? If I was China, I wouldn't be buying any.
127
Britain has not learnt from history, it contributed a great deal of sufferings of the Chinese starting with the two Opium Wars marking the beginning of the ''century of humiliation'' for China and now it takes order from Washington being the faithful running dog of the US empire, it is not very wise however for the UK to follow closely to the US, as when the US empire will die their running dogs could be next.
116
The US is shooting itself on the foot again and now expecting China to help out but still treating the Chinese with disrespect and unwilling to give any concessions. China's attitude to the US is: respect our political and economical systems, stop suppressing our legitimate needs for development and stop messing with our internal affairs otherwise there would be no further discussion. It is about time China stands up to the big bully, the Chinese waited for this for a long time!
112
China is pretty much ignoring the desperate US/West now, China will focus on improving its economy and advancing its technology, the West would rather waste time and resources in containing China, China's economy is doing well with high demands for its goods, the US wants China to help to reduce the high inflation it created itself, sorry, this time China will not save the US' ass, not until the US openly begs China for it.
104
When will the US deal with its own mess instead of blaming everyone else for its problems, time to grow up.
82
The Western media is once again collectively silent on the ''two sets of lists'' China presented to the US during the Tianjin meeting and also some very strong and frank words coming from Sherman's counterpart Xie Feng and China's foreign minister Wang Yi. These lists and speeches are extremely important and significant because it marks the beginning of a change in style in how China is dealing and responding to the US' attitude towards China. China has rarely been this direct in its diplomacy with the US, it is basically telling the US that China has seen trough and through the US' hostile intentions and telling them that it should not expect China to continue to help the US in a manner like it did during the 2008 financial crisis for example while accepting China's interests harmed by the US as when the US sees fit. To sum up, the US could no longer talk to China from ''a position of strength'', whether the US like it or not.
63
The BBC is still pushing the narrative that somehow the UK should go back and fight for the women of Afghanistan, even when the US is out for good, why does the UK government behave like as if it was the empire days? What a joke!
50
As Wang Yi stressed, the US should take the two sets of lists of ''conditions/demands'' seriously before wasting their time for another meeting with China, China has seen through the US, it wants to take advantage of China while bad mouth and supress China, China is no idiot, hence shouldn't be treated like one.
47
Since long, the US government must suffer from some type of neurotic disorder, but its carrot-and-stick policy doesn't work on China, Taiwan is a part of China and its core national interest, it is not subject to negotiation.
45
Britain has embarrassed itself this time sailed all this way to the SCS but didn't dare to go anywhere near territorial waters of any Chinese islands, what a waste of time and money! And what's more, the US does not even appreciate Britain's action, why did it even bother!
41
The US is not withdrawing from Afghanistan, it is retreating begging the Taliban to spare its embassy, this is quite pathetic.
39
I enjoy seeing US politicians getting humiliated by China, don't worry the US is thick skinned and have no shame.
36
Look at all the losers commenting here. Learning Chinese is a wise decision, China is the future.
30
Exactly, but China will never do something as stupid as the UK.
30
@mikecavallaro466 To call you ignorant and stupid would be a massive understatement, clearly you have learned and reflected nothing from history hence went on to invade and butcher millions but blame those who you have murdered having caused their own misfortune, with psychopath like you it does explain why the US is the biggest continuous murderous terrorist regime on earth.
29
Democracy is not the perfect solution for all problems of all countries, if the US really cares about democracy and human rights, it wouldn't have been overthrowing popular leaders of other countries for its geopolitical interests and invading and killing people of countries against international law, it is more like they just carry out whatever they fancy (often evil) in the name of ''democracy and human rights''.
29
Don't think reeducation will ever work on the West, they never learn!
27
@mikecavallaro466 Why would you want to challenge China's rights to sovereignty over the South CHINA Sea and its territorial islands of which its ownership began centuries before the US was even a country? Just because you fancy? Has China sailed to the Gulf of Mexico or the coast of Florida once every month? Its rich for you to play the victim here, lol.
26
It is just common sense, but the US seems to be lacking of.
26
Soon the new ''free world'' will be more advanced in its infrastructures and implementing new technologies faster than the fake free world thanks to the one belt one road project.
26
Well said. There is no leadership in the West, just puppets and buffoons.
25
@uingaeoc3905 You need to check out the definition of imperialism before talking nonsense.
24
@willengel2458 Of course I have not, I am a Chinese, we don't form alliances of such kind.
23
@jameswu800 Well not really, because the humiliation 100 years ago gave China the motivation to be better and stronger, the opposite of what the West had wanted China to become. So that is why I say this tactic is actually counter productive from the Western point of view. This is what is happening now, the more the West suppresses China's growth the more it motivates China to achieve its goal on its own, therefore standing on its own feet, which is not what the West wants to see.
22
@Rivenburg-xd5yf Nonsensical conspiracy theory, China's key industries and certain financial sectors are not open to Western bankers, the West has increased their investments in China but that has started since more than 30 years ago. The Western capitalists' greed and China's huge market return is the reason why the West is investing in China.
18
And even better the US happily replaced some of Australia's share of exports to China, it is a win win for Australia!
18
They run the clown show very well
17
@cleopatra5682 Yes sadly the West is on the path of self destruction, it is astonishing the speed and degree your institutions are being bought out, most noticeably your media, it is neither free nor independent as they have led you to believe previously, most importantly your government don't serve the people well, I guess they are too busy trying to contain China.
16
What did he say is not true? Facts don't care about your feelings.
16
@mikecavallaro466 BTW, the US/West does not hold any claim to any island among the South CHINA sea, all the countries in the region clearly expressed they do not welcome Western involvement, why don't you mind your own business and stop sending warships to China's backyard unless you want to incite regional tensions or worse?
16
@mattan5949 Yeah, they do, lol, but they will pay a dear price for that.
15
@Rivenburg-xd5yf You are beyond helpless, lol.
14
The Western MSM has narratives you prefer, and comments suit your intelligence level, just leave.
14
@enterchannelnamehere2922 Her pro independence hard-line rhetoric will reduce the possibility of reunify by peaceful means, in other words, reunify by force asap will most likely to happen which is what most Chinese want, so thanks to her making reunification happen faster.
14
@aakau88 LOL, no country except the US knows what it means to have a ''sense of exceptionalism''! They repeat this words about itself so often and openly just to make sure the world knows about it, and boy have they not behaved in an exceptionally BAD way since it was founded? This ''exceptional'' country that ignores international laws invading countries after countries, killing and wounding millions, the country that walked out most international treaties, accords and institutions are just a few examples. Sorry Erina, China could in no way match any of that!
13
Well said, thank you, time is indeed on China's side. In a way, we Chinese need to thank the West for the wake up call 200 years ago, the sleeping dragon has finally woken up.
12
@terefefeyssa877 Very Well said, can't agree more.
12
@akirasean4080 LOL
12
''The guy with the shopping bag'' in Tiananmen Square didn't get crushed by a tank, neither was there a ''massacre'' taken place on Tiananmen Square, the West lied, the US gov knows it. It was a colour revolution incited by the West.
