It's amazing to me how you can keep your videos G rated after getting a flashlight in the face, I'm a believer in the gospel and I'd be throwing the light across my garage threw the blue air. Also I never seen battery terminals like that before, you tighten the bolt on top and it clams from the side........
8
I like it when you take stuff apart to find failure.......
5
{Complete 4wd Rebuild!} I got a feeling of being short changed, something so interesting as rebuilding a rear end and you cut it all out, I wanted to see how complicated this is. This had all the makings of 10 part series, after all, the tidal does say COMPLETE!!!!!!!!!!
4
Just couple thoughts on your lack luster performance...... Ground needs a shinny spot, should've clean the A-frame and ball-joint first, to much wire stick-out, should break wire everytime for better re-start, should've tested weld on piece of scrap metal first because that was not enough heat for spot welding, after weld should've added a bit more grease to ball-joint with needle grease-tip cause next ball-joint replacement will be a bit more expensive, should've re-painted top-side of A-frame also, should've hollered louder and run around the shop when stated a fire cause it would add more drama to the video.......... Now stay away from that Russian accent, your southern accent is just fine but if you feel the need to add an accent, I'm a big fan of the England and Australian accent.........
4
Your bore-scope camera work needs work.........
4
Thar wheel stud tool usually comes with car, and I wish you'd say what torque number should be used on wheels. You was a little to close that service cart for my comfort........
3
I was one of those that thought dielectric grease was for increasing conductivity not preventing electric leakage, see your none stop ramblings are helpful and educational and you thought no one was listening, hey Ray have a great day with Ps 118:24.......
3
Watching you for six months now and still best part of all your videos is all your senseless monologue, being able to fix the vehicle is a close second. My favorite line in this episode is @21:00-ish "I will pull this engine to recover this tool"!!!!! I'm not a mechanick but I'd feel the same way too........ I also remember when Craftsman tools were and had good tools, bought my first basic set back in 1977, seems like in the 90s they was heading towards the cliff of no good, and by around 05 they went over the cliff to the point of no return and no good, it's a sad day for the USA when China makes better tools than Craftsman.....
3
I dont see the point of 90° turn on cap bolts, that can lead to variations of torque values, I'd rather have all bolts torqued to a set number. But for the sake of your so called science, you should've rechecked cap bolts with torque wrench, I bet the torque numbers are all over the space time continuum.......
3
Must be running low on brake-clean since your using shop air to clean oily valve covers, which is ok but it's not the same as throwing empty brake-clean can across the floor.........
3
Trucks with low air intake dont work well under water either.........
3
If the customer added radiator sealant I'd first want to know WHY before digging any deeper, but I'm a welder not a mechanic........... PS The only thing that makes your videos any good is good work and good southern narration with no Russian accent, and thanks for spilling the blue stuff on ya, that was funny.........
3
I thought you ALWAYS change AC valves cores when servicing AC, you dropped the ball on this one........ If you like numbers God is the king of the numbers in the KJV. 7 is God's chosen number, 6 is the number of man and the 666 you keep mentioning is the mark of the beast, NO ONE gets eternal life with that number in his hand or forehead. Heres and example of a number game in Deut 16:11, if you do the math you'll know which bible God put his name in............
3
I kept moving my laptop trying to get a better view of what you was doing, then it dawned on me, the problem was on your end......... By the looks of that power steering line, it looks like it was an after-thought by the engineers, must be why they are called engineers for being able to design a line like that, it's designed like the currant administration policies.........
3
I bet up-grades are more fun then repairs, must be pushing 5k in front end parts so far........
2
I didn't know a tensioner moves that much when throttling......
2
Good thinking, we'll change the trans filter on the 400k milage mark instead of now........
2
I'd say your sons football career might be over....... We need to get these videos more up to date, it's against video code to show Mondays videos on Fridays..............
2
So a new fuse block was the fix, wonder how much fixing would be done without Doorman...........
2
Oh now it's cold out, oh boy theres no mosquitoes...........
2
I think the coolant leak was caused by your crappy welding on the ball joints, good mechanic makes a lousy welder and visor versa......... PS stop deleting my post on rippen your face off.........
2
"Customer states while driving and when they put on the brakes it pulls aggressively to one side, so WE SUSPECT there's some kind of issue with the braking system" <<<<WOW WOW AND WOW !!!! Up here in northen hemisphere where aligators dont grow that truck wont past inspection sticker without major surgery, it's usually turned into off road plow truck, all we need is stop and go function..........
2
$300.00+ for bearing repair on Hyundai sounds ok to me if that includes parts and labor......... I couldn't finish watching the 2nd video because I CANT STAND YOUR RUSSIAN ACCENT!!!!!!!!!!!! Ten thumbs down...............
2
If your going down the road of those long noisy intros I'll un-subscribe, I cant stand that bla bla bla, more than 3 sec is to long...........
2
In conclusion, an (08) 70k car needs only a seal to be replace in under 20 years of use or Jaguar will warrantee any other problem 100%, no mileage limit.............
2
I watched some of Ford boss Man videos and saying you and him are the same is like saying Elvis and Johnny Cash are the same, your nuts. I prefer you southern lingo analogy when working on something like that Ford 5.4 motor couple weeks ago....... As far as I'm concern if you want to get get serious, compare both you and him with Jesus Christ by using his perfect word of God, 1611 KJV and make sure you are saved by grace and not good works ((((For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.)))) ))))...........For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.))))
2
Marvel Mystery Oil works better. why, it's a mystery, but this was a great video to fall asleep by......
2
You may not like doing these dif jobs but I love watching them, they are 10 times better then brake fluid swap/oil change brain numbing videos!!!! And further more, how much more senseless ramblings did I get screwed out of hearing when taking dif apart 6 times and you not videoing it, now that I'm retired I need my daily does of senseless ramblings, in PG if you can........... This should've been at least a 5 part series cause I stil dont get how you set them gears by shimming, and further more, I'd be awful nervous if a mechanic did this type of job for me in less then 3 days.......... PS I wonder if you ever tell a car/ truck owner to come back after 500 miles for nut and bolt check............
2
@wayneessar7489 What I saw was in fast motion with not enough explanation of why when where, does the ring gear only get shimmed or the pinion or both and how much on what side, when is tight to tight to go in. This is still something that I wouldn't dare touch but is fun to watch Ray work on it.........
2
I get paid double time watching videos on Sunday, just so you know.........
2
You need another portable parts table, working on top of other stuff would drive me insane......
2
I had 74 Fiat once back in 1977, fun little car....... Heres some 411... One want to take care when welding underneath car, lots of flammable stuff on other side. 4 years ago my son caught his car on fire by welding patch on rust hole, lucky I was near by when he hollered fire, then I hollered get the fire extinguisher on garage door, he got fire out quick but back seats was ruined and couple taillight wires melted. It was drivable but smelt bad for a while...... I know theres is a fine line between preventative maintenance vs if not broke dont fix it, so it's usually a good idea to change plugs but I didn't notice the need to change those coils, parts canon getting rusty from lack of use or what......
2
Yeah cop cars do lots of idle time, but what makes me piping hot is all these Karen's trying to pass laws not letting private citizen cars warm up in cold weather states, the working people that pay taxes so we can have police protection and allow Karen's to block highways..........
2
I thought those grease fittings on each end center bar was for tie-rods in first video, decided to wait to verify question to see if you'd verify that question in put-back-gather video in which you did verify, like the why you explain parts reasoning. And yes those are cotter pins as far back as I can remember going on 60+ years now, they are called split-pins by Brandon supporters......
2
I looked up>> 89 inch lbs and 96 in lbs. vs ft lbs. >>>> 89 in lbs = 7.4167 ft-lb and >> 96 in lbs = 8 ft-lb, That dont sound like enough to me...........
2
Sometimes backwards drill bits work better on removing threaded parts. If you put up a billboard you'll need to add a 10 bay garage with 3 more Troys......... And that was a cool car at the end, I'm thinking early 70s dodge........
2
Now I have to go back and look for that comment, all I was wondering about was that O-ring........
2
Up here in ME, no parking brakes mean no sticker, no sticker means not allowed on ME roads, the work around is go see uncle Bubba...........
2
My biggest complaint was trying to get that wheel cap off with a tooth pick made wire-connectors!! My biggest question is why didn't use the Rigid impact on the caliper bolts, looked to be all kinds of room??? My biggest comment is, I bet you put in 10 times more grease then todays wheel-hub assemblies comes with.......
2
$1200.00 for AC compressor is wow, Ford must be setting their part prices based on F-150 pickup prices........
2
Thats one long trans unit, no wonder you had to fight with it, bet it'll go back in lot harder then it came out. You should take transfer case off before you reinstall transmission, it would make a great video and save you lots aggravation at same time............
2
Ok so a 2013 Ford van @$2,500.00 at most to fix, with no rust, almost 3k on a motor that runs fine and the owner says NO. Maybe vans are cheap in in Florida but here in ME if a vehicle isn't rusted out it's worth fixing til there isn't anymore part to fix it with, and as far as mileage on a well maintain motor..... I personal rode on a (04) full size Ford van that was pushing 400k miles and was still running great but it rusted away, and nothing is no more expensive to fix then RUST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2
Strange how on new manifold I could see all butterfly valves with working mirror, but on the old one I could only see two, one would almost wonder why......... I would've like to seen an autopsy done on old manifold rather then seeing ducks fly to the moon............
2
Gee I watched the whole darn show and I still know exactly how that alarm works, you should've gave a demonstration on how this alarm is suppose to remind me that I left my kid in the car when it's 100* outside, I did understand being 2' short on wire after it's all ran nice and neat though..............
2
You should've put some good $10.00 caulking on that brake light and save the customer $75.00 on new OEM brake light!!! You screwed around 15 minute trying to clean a baddy corroded circuit board but you couldn't spend 10 minutes on a better then original brake light seal with caulking..........
2
250k, that deserves a WOW!!!!!!! I bet I wont get that on my 2018 Cherokee............ Heres the 411, that Jeep is not a truck and it's not a car, it's a Jeep, it is very wrong to call it anything but a Jeep, it's a Jeep thing...........
2
$3.89/gal!!!!!!! Thankyou Brandon and those that voted for him.........
2
Maybe you offended YT with the American flag in your new office............✝
2
My tip for the day is, you dont need a stethoscope to know that has a bad bearing...👍🍩
2
V8 running on 4 cylinders might be a cause of carbon buildup, or speaking in tongues..... You cant reuse head bolts but you can reuse cam bearings, I would think new cam require new bearings or could that be another "Achilles heel >>> is a weakness despite overall strength, which can lead to downfall. " PS Any ape can tear down an engine, the trick is, putting it back together so it runs and runs well and or better............
