A few caveats: 1. Trump is the only Republican running a viable presidential campaign. So while Republicans who want to donate money to a presidential campaign only have one candidate to give money to, Democrats are currently splitting their contributions between more than 20 candidates. 2. Trump is an incumbent, an advantage he's exploited by, for instance, explicitly fundraising off speeches delivered from the Oval Office and using scammy Facebook ads and email lists to extract donations from supporters. 3. Trump never actually stopped campaigning after 2016, giving him a two-year head start over the Democrats. He officially announced his reelection campaign days after his inauguration, so he's had more money in his campaign coffers throughout his first term than Obama, who didn’t launch his reelection campaign until April 4, 2011.

His party controlled every branch of government for two years, yet for someone who brands himself as a masterful negotiator, he still doesn't have a border wall and Hillary still isn't in prison. Story time: someone trying to make an argument in favor of Trump's border wall told me to look up FBI Table 21A, which they said showed how much crime illegal immigrants committed. Literally nothing in Table 21A has anything to do with illegal immigration, but when I told someone later what they told me to look up, somehow I was the moron. Point is, my critique could be as accurate as I could possibly make it and you will still call me a retard for some arbitrary reason, even though you will say nothing about the people you do agree with being flagrantly wrong. And even if it did, why are you surprised that there are so many nonwhite people in a society frequently described as a "melting pot"?

The fact that he got elected means that either the media has no effect on him (in which case, you're being a whiny little bitch) or the media did have an effect, and it was in his favor.
