If by "actual identitarians seem to largely despise him," you're referring to people like the Pittsburgh synagogue shooter who thought Trump didn't hate Jews enough, then sure. Just as long as you ignore the fact that David Duke, the former head of an organization with similar beliefs, is an avid Trump supporter.

@DanaPAH Following the Helsinki summit, Duke praised Trump for standing up against "the Zionist Occupied Government of the United States and the Zionist Occupied Media." But I highly doubt that he's going to claim voting against her is 'treason to your heritage' like he said about voting against Trump just because she criticized Israel's lobbying presence in DC. And before you say I'm taking his "heritage" line out of context because he wasn't talking about any specific heritage, here's what he told Politico: "[Trump's] made it OK to talk about these incredible concerns of European Americans today, because I think European Americans know they are the only group that can’t defend their own essential interests and their point of view. He’s meant a lot for the human rights of European Americans.” David Duke may have claimed back in 2016 that he didn't support everything about Trump, but he sure as hell doesn't have any reason to support Ilhan Omar beyond her Israeli lobbying statement.
