How can you claim to be on the side that opposes hatred when conservatives mock everything Democrats and liberals do, then act surprised when they say they don't want to cooperate? If you spend two years belittling literally any person, regardless of their political leanings, that person will have very good reason to distrust you when you try to play nice all of a sudden.

  7.  @Stan_Vanderakt  Both sites have their ups and downs where their methods are concerned. 538 tries to compensate for factors like house effects and sample size. RCP doesn't. But they don't use each other's polls, for some reason. Other than that, they're pretty much just using the same sources with the only real difference being how they weigh the data.
