  1. Wrong. He refuses to attend because he has something to hide, and this is the same douchebag who repeatedly criticized Obama for lack of transparency. If Trump were innocent, proving it would be the easiest thing in the world to do. And not attending simply makes the hypocrisy worse. Trump and his supporters claimed the proceedings were illegitimate because there was no vote on the inquiry and therefore Trump has no reason to cooperate. There's no Constitutional requirement for a vote to be held on anything other than the articles of impeachment, but now that a vote has been held and passed, the fact that Trump continues to refuse to cooperate means anyone who defends Trump's decision not to attend the proceedings officially have no standards.
