Article III, Section 3: "Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort." Does failing to act against a hostile foreign power that committed election interference count as treason? I seriously can't be the only one who remembers the Helsinki conference.

@tylerulfmann4586 Wrong! There was a 2007 strategy memo published in the Atlantic from former Clinton aide Mark Penn that advises pointing out Obama’s "lack of American roots." Penn suggested Clinton "own 'American' in our programs," which is not the same thing as suggesting Clinton question Obama’s citizenship or birthplace. The memo never advised that. It also explicitly stated, "We are never going to say anything about his background." Oh, and neither Clinton nor her campaign acted on Penn’s advice anyway. Nice try, though.

@tylerulfmann4586 His mother was American. He was born in a U.S. state. The fact that people had to go and add nonexistent dots to his birth says more about them than Obama himself. Oh, but as long as we're making qualifications, John McCain was born on a military base in Panama. But I'm guessing that's different somehow.

@floridareb8083 I remember the coverage of Obama. It was definitely rapturous at first, but it definitely didn't last. Also, let me ask you something: if a high school bully called you a fag and stuck your head in a toilet, would you have any reason to say nice things about him? No, you would not. Same goes for the media. They get things wrong, for sure, but calling them the "enemy of the people" isn't what you do if you want them to say nice things about you.

And for the record, even if Obama was a practicing Muslim (which he isn't), what would that have to do with him being president? The most controversy that ever arose out of a president's religion before Obama was John F. Kennedy, and that's because while every previous president was a Protestant, Kennedy was - GASP - a Catholic! But I digress. I bring that up because I guarantee you either didn't know or don't think it's a big deal, to which I ask why it should matter if we had a practicing Muslim president (which Obama wasn't). As long as he isn't a terrorist or a terrorist sympathizer, what's the issue?

By that logic, Obama won the electoral college twice, which makes the claim that he wasn't a "real" president so laughably wrong that if I said it, you'd skin me alive.
