  14. EXCELLENT COMMENTS HERE!!! The only alternative to a hard landing I can see is a Black Swan Event: BOBBY KENNEDY, JR. elected president. I'm a 73-year-old activist and (retired) serious journalist and have been studying Bobby's work, writings and speeches for awhile. I don't think we'll ever have another chance to put a real statesman in the White House -- so let's get cracking and make it happen!!!

I've also edited an international journal and was a war correspondent so I'm well aware of the dirty underbelly of this system. Again I ask, what is your alternative to wresting the power from the oligarchy?

  19. It was an extremely small sampling of people in each country. I wonder how they chose who was in it. And, while I understand the Chinese feeling they have a real democracy, I happen to know the Russian people do too and, therefore find that figure highly suspect. It's great to know most people here in the US know we don't have a democracy, though.

I don't think there's ever been anything that even comes close to this in the history of humanity. PLEASE QUIT BREAKING UP A BEAUTIFULLY-FLOWING MESSAGE WRITTEN BY A MASTER!!! Make your points before and after, but NOT CONTINUOUSLY THROUGHOUT, PLEASE!!! (You're disrespecting both your audience and the brilliant author--whose work is so beautifully crafted it doesn't need your further explanation, anyway.)
