@drzaius1121 well clearly they're not working when there are mass shootings almost daily. In MA they have the fewest gun fatalities in the contiguous US, and in MA there are strict background checks and common sense safety rules. It saves lives.

@dcrose001 they are not as effective as they could be. For example MA has the fewest gun fatalities in the contiguous US. MA also has strict background checks and some common sense safety rules. Lots of guns but fewest deaths in contiguous US. Think about how enforcement of the background checks has made a difference and saved lives.

@easyenetwork2023 here's the problem: healthcare is a right, not a privilege. Every other major country provides healthcare for its citizens. We have some amazing hospitals in the US, and some of the best doctors in the world...but yet people die because they can't afford cancer treatment, or treatment for diabetes. It's unacceptable. We need some form of single payer, universal coverage, at least for some aspects of healthcare. It can be debated what should be considered medically necessary, what should be covered. In the US, a single trip to the ER can leave someone thousands of dollars in medical debt (other 1st world countries don't even understand bankruptcy due to medical debt, because it doesn't exist there.)

January 6th, where 140 police officers were injured, some died, and 45 did nothing but tell the crowd he loves them?? I'm an Independent voter and so are plenty of other people. (meaning: not fans of Biden)

@russelljordan7688 I don't know anyone who wants to do away with the 2nd Amendment. I know many people who want a safer country. I was using registration to give an example of a right (voting) which has a condition. So if registration doesn't infringe on voting rights, it doesn't infringe on owning a weapon.

@emmanuelskyler1148 immigrants exist, yes. Kamala, when she was a successful prosecutor in CA, a border state, prosecuted transnational crimes such as human trafficking and drug dealing. So she's had much experience dealing with illegal immigrants. Most crimes committed in the US are not from immigrants though. Certain news shows like to make it seem catastrophic, for views.
