5:23 that's what happens when you replace only one rotor at a time. Lololol
2
@ToddAdams1234 I learned this the hard way long ago. Lol
2
Ray, I know the feeling. What a major pain. No room, and you're juggling a light and camera with tools, parts, and a belt. You need to be an arthropod for this kind of work without trying to film. Good work.
2
27:42 Belt driven intake manifold
2
Nice place Ray. You have the convenience of a shower for the accidental gear lube situations. That stuff is nasty. Lol
2
30:52 I never play around with brake fluid. It's harsh on surfaces.
2
19:10 that's some crappy service.
2
55:34 if that was my car, I would use some header wrap on the exhaust pipe near the gas tank and fuel lines. They're pretty close.
2
0:25 stage 6 weight reduction mod.
2
7:46 I can get a five quart jug of mobile one 5w-30 synthetic oil at Walmart for 28ish bucks. That's the best deal that I've found as an ordinary consumer. It drops down below $25 sometimes.
2
13:53 PST should make one of these gears. They make graphite impregnated polyurethane bushings for suspension systems. Polygraphite, it might survive in there because it self lubricates.
2
31:00 this is where I would put a couple pumps of axle grease in the u-joint for good measure.
2
1:00 We have the rotisserie cooker over us in July. Australia is enjoying their winter right now in the southern hemispherical chamber.
2
I feel for you Ray. I've been there before and I wasn't finishing someone else's work. Lol It was my own project that I started and had to finish later, after the parts arrived. Lol
2
5:18 don't forget to put something under the A arm.
2
1:37 good ol torque arm bushing.
2
32:32 lol I love it. Haha
2
That's an amazing car. It held together with minimal maintenance.
2
9:00 I like to make the repair to both sides when it's brakes, wheel bearings, and suspension.
2
21:30 lololol 🤣 oh noooo
2
12:06 Livin On The Edge!!! Lol

I had a 1994 Toyota Corolla with a 1.6 Liter and 5 speed manual transmission. I bought it with a quarter million miles on it back in 07 when the fuel prices went up. It was a great car with functional AC and it still got 36 mpg on the highway.. the only work it needed was CV axles because I took it off road and drug the exhaust back about a foot. The hot exhaust pipe burned a hole in the CV boot.
2
18:42 you accidentally pulled the compression relay out. Lol
2
20:36 thread locker?
2
12:00 those two wrenches played a little tune. Lol
2
Solid advice
2
14:55 it sure makes pulling sparkplug wires off a lot easier.
2
7:34 Diaper Disaster! Lol
2
This happened to my dad's 1973 Chevy Caprice back in the day. My dad thought the transmission was going out, and so did the guy at the transmission shop . After getting the TH350 automatic transmission rebuilt the car had the same problem. It would kick down to the passing gear but not upshift until you got out of the throttle without much acceleration. The transmission shop made some money off my dad. He took it to another shop and explained what the car was doing and the mechanic told my dad to rev the engine while he put his hand over the tail pipe. He told my dad this things not breathing right. My dad took it down to the muffler shop and had his buddy put dual glass packs on it. We didn't know that a 5000 pound battle cruiser could do a smokey burnout. Lol I found out later that it had a small block 400 in it when I checked the numbers on the block. No wonder

24:49 this seems to be the theme of this vehicle. Zero maintenance or repairs.
2
9:05 the motor mounts are hanging in there. Lol You need to send this truck up north to the Neutral Drop Brothers. They can test those motor mounts with a few No Mercy Reversies. Haha
2
0:10 what a coincidence. My brother has the same truck with the same problem. I told him about the 3M adhesive.
2
42:45 this is when I put the transmission in fourth gear so I can wiggle the output shaft back and forth with the drive line installed. It will line the splines of the input shaft up with the clutch disc's splines. Then you got to wiggle wiggle wiggle the whole transmission to sink into that pilot bearing.
2
Well, you're getting your degree in part time cruiser anatomy now. It sucks that you have to take it apart just to change the radiator.
2
Good morning Ray.
2
41:48 lololol, that's funny. Kids need to hear that so they don't grow up to be Karens. Good parenting.
2
17:57 that pathetic engine mount can't contain the POWAAH of the mighty 3800 Grandpa special. Lol you better chain it down bro!!!
2
Looks like you had fun playing with your new toy. Lol I'm glad you got the air-conditioning fixed. That diesel sounds really good.
2
I love that color on the Firebird. My favorite is the 2001-2002 Firebird TA WS6 with the manual transmission. Come on Powerball!!!
2
21:25 last time you put lifting force on the lower control arm you probably had that junk in the trunk to help balance that out.
2
I like what you did. I had to do this with my Nissan Titan. Corrosion killed my positive connector so I grabbed a piece of 4 guage power cable and an aftermarket terminal from some stereo amplifier install kit.
2
You must have had your coffee Ray. You're firing on all eight with this job. Lol Nice work.
2
It was also an explanation video.
2
You got it, nice catch.
2
43:01 lololol, he's gonna come after you Ray!!! You can't skip payment on your addictions!!! Hahaha 🤣
2
26:30 is that belt ribbed on both sides for everyone's pleasure? Or is it twisted?
2
I like the process and the effort Ray.
2
57:45 this is where I would put a little grease in to help that bushing slide in there. Maybe some of that sparkplug boot grease.
2
23:41 as long as you have room for chassis flex.
2
0:30 now that's a good Chevy!
