According to their logic, they need to start returning the Kurill Islands to Japan, Kaliningrad to Germany, & Vladivostok to China.
536
They're still living in the soviet era
206
They still have a 19th century imperialist mindset.
201
Haha, nice one! Or calling others "fascists", while they're emulating the nazis.
190
If Andrey thinks that volunteering "represents the people of Chuvashia with dignity", how come he's shunned by the village & has to live in a church facility? 🤦🏻♂️
137
@ghlscitel6714 ALL countries have to apply to join
90
@UncleHam1337 a source like United Nations General Assembly Resolution ES-11/4?
68
He's an obedient sheep.
59
@РоманПопов-ч6щ Donetsk? In the civil war that PUTIN STARTED? How many people were killed in Donetsk in the past 8 months?
51
@danascully6670 Russia has plenty of wealth. Palaces, yachts, investments overseas ... long live the oligarchy.
43
Since she's quoting "1941" & invasions, someone clue her in to the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact that carved up Poland between Germany & USSR, & led to WW2.
32
@Огоньплей no need for negotiations. End the war tomorrow. Get out of Ukraine.
30
@namesurname-1488 targeting civilian infrastructure during winter will result in deaths of civilians. That's no different from genocide.
29
@Rus-eq5wn ok big brain -- the MAJORITY in Ukraine decided on western economic & defensive alliance. And then their bully neighbor decided to reverse that.
24
@mitchyoung93 nice try, Vanya
24
@skillerror951 except that she's claiming that Ukrainians are not patriotic, which is definitely false.
23
@lalluqa6036 there are proud, overt Nazis in Germany, Austria, US, etc. Is Russia planning on invading there too? The Azov battalion grew as a direct result of Russian meddling in the Donbas & Crimea. Russia funded, trained, & sent troops to destabilize that region. Then annexed Crimea. The ultra nationalists in Azov fought to defend that territory from breaking away. They are a small contingent & in no way representative of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This is the flimsy excuse putin is using to invade the whole country. When Chechnya attempted to form a breakaway republic, did putin allow it?
20
@constantin88 do you people EVER accept responsibility for anything? It's always "deflect, deny, blame everyone else". Pathetic.
19
Another simple fact: where do the majority of migrants from around the globe want to move to: Russia or a western country? Or: How many western citizens have moved to Russia compared Russians who have moved to western nations?
19
@karinaivankova4099 yes is only "Georgian Stalin rule" when it comes to the atrocities, gulags, deportations, intentional stravation, & genocide. But it's not "Georgian Stalin rule" when it comes to the victory over the Germans, is it? Then ruzzia happy to claim all the credit.
19
So what is made by Russian companies in Asia?
19
There was plenty of this denial in Germany in the 1930s & early '40s. When it all came crashing down, they were all Pikachu faces.
18
Imperialism died in the early 20th century, vatnik ... except in imperial ruzzia
18
But Russian government officials have nice yachts & mega mansions 😉 How much is Shoigu's salary & how did he get that mansion?
18
You should have asked the police officer when he's going to the frontlines 😄
16
@percival851 the more intelligent questions are: 1. why are former Warsaw Pact members choosing to join NATO? NATO does not ask states to join -- countries apply to join. 2. Why is Russia claiming to be threatened by a defensive alliance when it is itself a nuclear power fully capable of defending itself? 3. If NATO expansion is indeed a concern, why did putin shrug off the Sweden & Finland application which were caused by his Ukraine invasion? 4. If NATO is a concern, why does Russia cause neighbors to be afraid by threatening nuclear war, invading neighboring states like Georgia & Moldova, & annexing territory like Crimea? Try answering any of those without resorting to whataboutism.
15
@ARES-zf5fz having the "biggest arsenal" is irrelevant. A nuclear exchange would wipe out both sides.
14
@percival851 ah, like I expected -- no intelligent response to any of the questions. Keep wallowing in your ignorance.
14
@constantin88 is that an excuse for USSR's culpability?
13
I wonder how many toilets that would buy ...
13
Imperialists ... what else
11
@AmonRa-z8w continuity? OK, so then Spain, France, & Britain can reclaim their colonies? Germany can reclaim Kaliningrad?
10
@FrOsTIIDeAtH if they didn't have internet access, then you'd have a point. But they do have it & are complacent, apathetic -- therefore complicit.

Sebastian Baez simple answer: putin Pootin started the civil war after his puppet Yanukovich was sent packing. "In August 2014, unmarked Russian military vehicles crossed the border into the Donetsk republic. An undeclared war began between Ukrainian forces on one side, and separatists intermingled with Russian troops on the other, although Russia attempted to hide its involvement."
10
Someone tell them about the Ancient Greeks

It's like that even in the west. Young people seek employment & opportunities in the cities.

Irony is that Wagner Group was created by a neo Nazi, Dmitry Utkin. The White Power Mercenaries Fighting For the Lost Cause Around the World "But the Wagner operatives left more than boobytraps. They also spray-painted swastikas and SS lightning bolts as graffiti wherever they went. Nazi symbols are popular among the mercenaries; in Ukraine in April, a leader of Task Force Rusich, a Wagner subsidiary, was videotaped wearing the Valknot and Tatenkoph of the 3rd SS Panzer Division. Wagner itself is named after the notoriously antisemitic German composer, whose operas famously made Hitler weep. According to the group’s origin story, a former Spetsnaz (Soviet special forces) soldier named Dmitry Utkin used “Wagner” as his callsign while fighting in the Donbass region in eastern Ukraine in 2014. Utkin, who many consider Wagner’s operational commander, has tattoos of Nazi “SS” epaulets along his collar bones. Many founding members of Wagner also belong to the ultra-nationalist and white supremacist group known as the Russian Imperial Movement, which the U.S. State Department has declared a terrorist organization."

This is what "I'm not political", "I'd rather not answer", "I'm not into politics" gets you ...
8
@AmonRa-z8w same with USSR & Russia 😎
8
Sebastian Baez it started in April 2014 when putin started agitating. In August he sent his forces in. Nothing inaccurate about my post. The people of Donbas were a minority & as such have no right to fight a separatist war. If they chose to take up arms, they became rebels. A rebellion is treason. How did putin deal with Chechnya when they wanted to separate? We all hear Kremlin propagandists talk about the US support for Maidan. But curiously, we never hear about the ruzzian puppeteering that PRECEEDED the Maidan. Yanukovich was elected with a mandate to join the EU. His corruption from putin made him go against the will of the majority.
8
They do the same in Ukraine -- this time with washing machines & toilets
7
@Rus-eq5wn cite your sources for that claim. There have been 2 elections since 2014 that say the exact opposite of your claim. And if the majority supported Russia, you'd not have the fierce resistance to this invasion from Ukrainians.
7
@caroline4323 Vice has an entire series here called "Russian Roulette" that was filmed at the start of the conflict. Highly recommended.
7
@comatoseps1382 including some of their own launches that will make U-turns or fail to get off the ground
7
@Mhurocy 👍
7
That athleticism comes in handy when outrunning Ukrainian forces while being routed. And also when sprinting for the border to avoid mobilization. 😁
7
@faster7116 yes, of course, Russia is a such a free country that no one wants to comment on politics 😂
7
Hitler did similar things. Was he "based" too?
7
There are new restrictions on what can be said about the war. Asking those questions will violate them.
6
99% will say it's staged
