  9. There are several airbases in Australia, and naturally great air defense is imperative here! We really have some extraordinary pilots and many exciting air shows and events! 🥰 The European and World's airforce's love to come here for training maneuvers, because of the open spaces and technical support! 👍♥️

  13. I was born in Tasmania we had books, maps, atlases and globes, and exported goods to Europe! We also had travellers from all over Europe during our fruit picking season! I don't remember any Americans visiting our small town, but we watched many US movies and tv shows! I had a ex Russian ballet teacher, a ex German language teacher, and many diverse European neighbours - our beautiful river was discovered and named by a Frenchman! Most Americans don't even know anything about 'their own' European history?? 🧐

  18. There's something for everyone in Australia! I watch international and local real estate shows, the most common requirement is facilities, like schools, hospital, shops! Having some land is ideal, it can provide a great childhood wonderland, a reliable source of income, a buffer against hard times, quality of life! I have noticed US and Europe rents are usually monthly! Monthly or fortnightly are common. Those Sydney rents are very high due to high demand and uncertainty, any "short term" rental costs more, a luxury listing is usually rented by overseas visitors and may often be empty! Melbourne has recently lifted prices too, years of lockdowns, no exports/imports, no tourist income, wage rises, big demand!? It is possible when inflation settles and everyday costs become more competitive that confidence will open up the real estate markets again, It is also possible that there will be more forced sales by banks because of mortgage defaults! 🧐 Friendliness, helping hands & Safety guaranteed! 😊👍 I know of an English family who has recently bought a 10 acre farm in Queensland, and are very happy!   26. I saw the One Pack Wanderers video of these trees in Western Australia - not for me, ever! Of course, the biggest and oldest trees are actually in Tasmania, but you certainly cannot climb them, they're heavily protected! 😄👍

There is a new reality tv show on now called Police Rescue, a specially trained team dealing with any emergency in a big hurry, we should not take their sacrifices for granted! 🙋👏

  32. Two young Americans just did a budget driving trip from Perth to Melbourne, they bought a second hand car, and mostly camped the night or found cheap motels, but they took 5 days! (Stopping for two days in Adelaide, which was their favorite!) 😁👍 (One Pack Wanderers videos)

  33. I grew up with Tiger Snakes all around our property, near our bicycles, swimming in the dam, on the lawn, in the woodshed! We were never bitten, but I remember clearly the many deceased ones, usually beheaded, my father had hung on the fence after using his farm tools! We were curious rather than frightened, my father had many scary creatures preserved in jars and shared his knowledge! But once I was trapped in an outdoor toilet by a Brown Snake outside, but as I was taught, I just waited for it to leave - screaming or running wasn't an option! They are seeking heat or food or water or to breed, they are not hunting humans! 😟👍 Check for two wounds about an inch apart, if you feel a bite! 🧐

I knew there were a lot of Indonesians, they frequently come here in boats (illegally) and they are closely related to Australian Aboriginals through trade and personal integration! Yes, Australia is the big brother of the Southern Hemisphere, and a very important and benevolent one - we must stay independent and strong! South Africa is not a benevolent or even peaceful country! Maoris are strong and warriorlike, you can't fool them! Yes, fresh air is certainly a big part of Australia, particularly Tasmania - step off the plane and breathe, and eat real food! 👍

My grandmother had an old 1930/40s maroon Citroen Avant in Southern Tasmania, it was so unique and comfortable when I was a child but she was tiny too - once you sank into the thick leather seats it was hard to see out! It really looked odd next to the modern sleek cars, but it was a special experience driving with Nana! It was sold to an eccentric local politician when she gave up driving and moved interstate, I believe it still runs! 😁👍

My friends are travelling the outback, with a toddler, in a "clapped out combi", before their next child is due, their mates in a LandCruiser with caravan are always trying to catch up or check on them! In a busy suburban underground carpark these are a nuisance! In real country Australia they are essential! 😁👍

  41. The One Pack Wanderers (from Arizona) just did a natural wonders video trip of Tasmania, our fresh gourmet food capital, but it ended up being mostly a local food tasting! In the rest of Australia they made do with noodles, sandwiches or salads, but they splurged on food in Tassie! 😋

  42. That was really exciting, obviously most was mining machines and equipment! Like in Texas bigger is better! I have a lot of respect for truckers, they work hard and have huge responsibility! I don't like being behind them on busy roads, but most are careful drivers, friendly people and they are essential to the Australian economy! 🤗👍

Snow vehicles, yep, the Great Diving Range! Move to the US, yeah/nah! Pick a Roo! 😱 Great signs! Eating's better in SA! Cute Quokka! Voting in summer, sweaty! 😂

  46. "Too many cooks spoil the broth!" Greed and selfishness are like the Plague - it's always where's my cut? Less for you means more for the few! Australians nearly always receive an annual tax refund, particularly young families, and small businesses! Children learn far more from experiencing life rather than watching it from a phone, computer or tv, I was free to explore the world, as long as I was home for dinner! 🤔

  48. I regularly watch videos of two couples on their outback adventures, one from Australia (retired their Kombi, building a new OKA) the other from Nevada (driving a Mazda BT-50)! They have bad days, but I've never heard of this ridiculous challenge, wow! 😂👍
