It's absolutely believable. 1) The US has a large population. More population means more infections means more deaths. 2) Trump downplayed Corona from the beginning. The US did too little too late. Later than everyone else on the planet. 3) Trumps lies and downplay on Corona affected peoples opinion about Covid until this day. His lies and downplay costed peoples lives still costs because people still believe his lies until this day. And 1 + 2 + 3 makes the highest amount of Covid deaths on the planet. Period.

@chriscanzanese5063 I see you are in denial. Well you can do that. But this is what brought America to this point in the first place. Denial.
1
@MikeHart72 Controlling prices by government would actually be a socialistic policy. That would made Trump a socialist ... lol
1
It's good that foreign leaders not give into Trump and show resistance. The moment Trump sees his bullying works he will continue with it and expand it. With resistance he might think twice about repeating this fallout perhaps with a more important trading partner or ally.

People with a criminal record should be barred from taking part in the election process (still voting of course, but not able to take part in the election process itself).

It was tried. Fox is always argueing before judges they don't delivers news (facts) they only deliver opinion as some kind of entertainment. Than they shout "Freedom of Opinion" and off they go. Helped them quite a lot in the past to escape millions and millions of costs. If I were a judge I would force them to do 2 things or closing down: 1) Rename the channel from "Fox News" into "Fox Opinions" 2) Make all hosts at Fox say "in our/my opinion" before saying anything

Any money you donate to the RNC or Trump directly just disappears in Trumps legal troubles. He wasted already 120 mio dollar on his personal legal issues and the serious criminal cases have not even begun. In addition to that 400 mio in damages in civil cases already because Trump is sexually incontinent and cannot shut up.
1
Why is Newsome in the picture? Is he a primary candidate for 2024 or not?
1
@WkUpPeople Then why do we see him debating and not Biden?
1
Mark the date. March 4th. Country wide protests by the 50501 movement. Your chance to show that you are not okay with ending Medicaid, education, federal programs, president musk, 4.5 trillion in tax-cuts for the rich, the soft coup happening in washington, the rising prices on groceries or whatever you are angry about.
1
Yes probably in 2030. Two years after Trump's 3rd inauguration and one year after the US Democracy has been abolished for the first American Imperium.
1
Sadly the Red States are threatening the process and prolonging the pandemic with their actions so it will just take longer so he can't make a guess. And sometimes I think it's intentional to prolong being able to pretent to "protect constituants" from "bad people taking somethign away" and getting their spot on Fox about things which aren't really lost. And I'm a little concerned how casually he compares wearing a mask or even not able to work against people losing their life. And how casual he goes over the half a million casualties. You could argue the Republicans doing something much worse instead of taking away some minor freedoms they taking away lifes.
1
Trump now also want NATO to pay 5% of GDP into their military. Not even the US is paying this much. Even the 860,000 x 1,000,000$ the US puts into the military each years is "only" 3.4%. 5% would mean the miltary budget grows from 860 billion to 1264 billion each year ... this would ruin America.
1
But would Cannon not revert on her own motion when she agrees on it later? Can a judge do that? Can the prosecutor not just say "Objection your honor you already denied this motion"?
1
DOJ is part of the current administration whoever that is. And he has some nerves calling for neutrality when I remember what bs Barr and Trump have done with and to this department.
1
This will be an intresting Supreme Court Case. The Federal Judicary Act of 1869 defines that the Supreme Court shall consist of 1 + 8 justices. However this is an Act and acts can be ammended. Republicans will have a hard time proving before the Supreme Court it's unconstitutional since the Constitution is not mentioning any of it. And the Supreme Court will have to judge over a decission over themselves. If the judges screw this up and allow it to be partisan all hell can break lose. The hole institution can self-invalidate maybe even self-destruct if they screw this thing up. It can lead to a constitutional crisis of epic proportions and may even lead to create a new institution which replaces the Supreme Court. P.S. America if you need inspiration: Check out the German "Bundesverfassungsgericht" made after the Holocaust.
1
If you need to see the latest version of "Democracy" check Germany. After a serious crash it got updated 70 years ago. It was bugfixed and updated from the bugs called "Hitler" and "Facism" and a new engine called "social market economy" was installed and working stable since.
1
They never "donate" they only invest. When they give 250 mio $ to a politican they want the same or more back in some form. If not they will not "donate" again.
1
Sorry so say this but even calling them "aliens" is already discriminating (EDIT: and outright racist literally)). EDIT: I changed my mind. I'm not sorry. Watch the language! They are human beings like you and me just happen to be born somewhere else.
1
You have someone like that in the USA. She is called Alexandria Occasio-Cortez.
1
Trump calls all immigrants illegals so I assume Trump just labeled undocument people illegals so he sell it better to the American public. It is a lie thought but the racists will gladly swallow it.
1
So what will America Season 2025 to 2028 become? A comedy or a tragedy?
1
Why is noone suing the state government for waiting lines more than 1 hour (or even up to 11)? It's so blindingly obvious disenfranchising and must be constitutional illegal.
1
Who cares if the Filibuster is historic or not or in what year it did come. IT'S THERE NOW! And it's blocking any progress.
1
Rubbish. They fear the end of fracking.
1
If it weren't for the DINOs the Democrats could just continue and completely ignore the Republicans. It would save weeks if not even months of pointless negotiations all ending with a "no".
1
If that is true. Add "making up cases" to this list of wrongdoings.
1
More like "Mare Tranquillitatis" because it's so empty.
1
It's a good idea. Do Townhalls for unwilling Congresspeople. This is like a free campaign-event for potential voters.
1
There is a difference between asking hard questions and asking insincere questions with leaving out context to somehow trap the asked person into making an incomplete statement later cut down even more to suit the channels rhetoric. Leaving out information on facts is also misinformation (= a lie).
1
This is "Make America Small" ... not quite what was promised.
1
I just heard from a cattle farmer voting for Trump employing over 50% illegal immigrants that he heard what Trump said but is expecting that Trump lied about it and not actually doing it. And if Trump really did it his bussiness would fall apart in just 3 days.
1
For example?
1
What exactly was?
1
Yes maybe. When the Republicans have a majority. It could make it even easier for them to change laws. That's why Biden is careful with the expression "Getting rid of" it can seriously backfire. And that'S the reason why he is considering an older form of it instead of getting rid of it completly. That's why he is suggesting making Filibustering "expensive" for the complainer.

Covid is for a lot of people the first feeling of real threat to thier own mortality. Result: People react with denial ("It can never happen to me") because the alternative is unimaginable for them. Fauci is reminding people constantly that Covid is still there and with that the threat is still there. People in denial do everything and focus all their anger on the guy who is reminding them of this threat constantly. Deep down they already know it can happen but being angry at someone gives them an excuse not to be worried. As if getting rid of Fauci somehow would get rid of Covid and this mortal threat.

Explain to me why the chinese government is outraged about the order to sell and actively trying to prevent the selling of the company for months and complain on the international stage when the chinese government is not involved in TikTok? A plattform I might add which is banned in China itself.
1
Besides that the checks for prisoners isn't any use for them while in prison, but they can send the checks to their families or save it to better start in life when coming out. And more importantly: This isn't a reason why over 100 mio people should not get a check just because of a couple thousand inmates.
1
Golf, Rallys and Elections were apparently more important toTrump than doing the job he had.
1
Probably not. But not voting Republicans is good enough. This is America and the current political system allows only 2 parties. If all on one side note vote the same ... the battle is lost before it even began. The term for this is vote-split. That's why the progressives and the DINOS (Democrats in Name only = Centrists = Establishment Democrats) don't break faith with the other wing, they know they can only survive together).
1
There is noone out there who not regretted working for or with Trump after a while. When you collaborate with Trump your voters might turn on you just for this reason because you helped him screw them.
1
With fair districting Republicans have no chance anymore. For decades Democrats needs +5 to win anything at all, this is why Republicans move on and now seek to replace democracy or make voting so hard and unfair with the final goal of being the only party on the ballot.
1
Worse! He even talked about mail-in ballots who don't need water or food because noone is waiting. He really must think we are dumb.
1
The only US department which is not able to pass audits is the Pentagon. And this is one Musk is not checking. Any questions? P.S. It is also the 2nd biggest department.
1
Covid is the name for a series of viruses who are very similar like a family with only minor differences. There is a hole series of them and the one spreading around is the number 19 the scientists discovered so far. Hence the number. Oh ... sorry that was a rhetorical question right?
1
I'm afraid not. Just greed. Insatiable greed. Like a billionaires eating in a restaurant paying 1,000$ bill and give 0,50 cent as tip.
1
I'm watching this experts background informations for a while now. Most Republican voters and practically all of the GOP are not clever enough to bring all this litigation. Who is coordinating and funding this very insidious attempts as bringing down democracy via the court system? Who is the brain behind these coordinated efforts?
1
More like America is part of Russia as strongly as he admires Putin.
1
Compromise is only possible when parties have mutual interests. But since the Republicans no longer make policies the public likes they can only win by inventing problems and enemies and promise to protect people from it (and of course never solve this or the problem would disappear) and by the strategy to "Own the Libs". Mr. Manchin: When one side's only goal is to remove and block from power, maybe even destroy the other how can there be ever mutual interest or compromise?
1
I hope the democrats pay attention and do something. If not they will probably never get into power again. They not only need to restore fair voting and dismantle disenfranchising and obstacles, but they also need to destroy the "Red Plan" the gerrymandering the Republicans introduced ensuring their power by cheating on the map.
