This happens when you only watch Fox and Newsmax because Fox and Newsmax say CNN and Co is only lying ... and you are bombarded by the same lie for over 2 months. At some point the people believe it ... just because they heared it often enough.
1
There is good reason for that. Just imagine a Democrat president had done only a fraction of what Trump and Musk doing right now.
1
More importantly she got things wrong again. The government is lost to the democrats already since the presidency changed sides, the Senate is legislature (law making) and in case of the Senate actually just law-confirming (or blocking). The Senate with the GOP is sitting on over 600 bills and block them. No wonder the country has so many problems for 8 years now this GOP Senate gets payed but does nothing else than blocking. They don't deserve the name "law-makers" they are "law preventers" at best and it's time they step down and leave room for younger more progressive people who actually intend to change things and willing to do something instead of just wasting time protecting the status quo.
1
Well Cruz almost looks like Castro maybe people should remind them of that. The issue is, they think Left = Communist = Castro which is complete rubbish. But they believe the lies because everything is better than Castro.
1
Biden is just 6 weeks in office and people already get vaccinated against Covid, Poor Kids getting help and 85% of people getting 1400$ checks. .... In just 6 weeks. "Don't care for the little people"?! Are you kidding us? You would be a fool to think otherwise. Biden and the Democrats did more in 6 weeks than the Republicans did in 6 years.
1
@karinemery Republicans voted all against the Relief bill although 75% of americans are for this bill. The Republicans are not interested in cooperation only in obstruction. I rest my case. Chapter closed.
1
Sadly he not learned how to pass them. 2/3 of his bills died in Congress ... in most cases because of fellow Democrats.
1
@MaryAnnNytowl Or he announced bills he knew would never pass. For example to keep progressive voters on his side so he can say ... "see I tried".
1
If Biden was really the best I have pity for America. America deserves better.
1
Terrible ... for him. That's why he found it terrible otherwise he would praise them as the best of the best.
1
It's even worse but was hard to notice. She actually blamed her own constituance for not acting more responsibly regarding Covid ... or in other words: She allowed it to happen and now blames the people for it.
1
Can we also talk about a trial where the judge got her job from the defendend?! And how that is acceptable?
1
You realize that Trump asked Congress last week to increase that to 40 trillion?! Trump/Musk are not the firemen they are the arsonists.
1
This is fantastic! I was waiting for this to happen. The right finally has arrived at the point of self-destruction and not a moment too soon. I knew why so many Republicans continue to support Trump instead of accepting reality, they knew those are Trumps voters not the Republican voters anymore. The GOP made a deal with the devil, they let the Ghinni (Trump) out of the bottle and now cannot put him back again without self-destroying themselves. The hitchhicking on Trumps train has ended, the train reached a dead end and now comes the price for the GOP for going along.
1
Yes. All the bad stuff and nothing of the good stuff.
1
They need 60 senators for that ... and the House majority.
1
Fauci should have said: When noone dies anymore.
1
I can fully understand why the GOP is getting desperate. The numbers don't look good and it needs only one Democratic majority in the state legislature to "reset" the elections back to normal, especially the gerrymandering. And under fair conditions the GOP has no chance anymore they got rid of their bread and butter the middle-class. Wealth transfer to the superrich donors now comes back to bite them.
1
"Needed" not "Need". Trump was a wakeup call for all moderate people that things can't continue as they are. It's time to wake up and do something. The left and the center was far too passive in the last 40 years. It needs to end or America will end as it is with the next Trump.
1
@karwalker7791 I hope the media learned a lesson on this too: Never let lies pass unchallenged. They may not hurt you now or today, but it will come back tomorrow for more and worse lies. No what I like on this is that their own lies turning against them politically so quickly just weeks after telling them. Normally it takes years and not many people take notice when it happens however just days or weeks that lies turning against you ... that does not happen often.
1
How can Trump even overrule Congress? There is a bill for that and only congress can repeal or ammend it? I think Trump is overstepping his authority here and he isn't even president until tomorrow.
1
Filibustering gives the Senate Republicans more power then the president and The House together. THIS CANNOT BE. It's not constitutional. It's undemocratic. And it resembles more Oligarchy by the top 1% than democracy.
1
Trump desperatly wants the peace nobel prize to be on par with Obama.
1
What I saw today confirmed is also something else: Even Trump is manipulated and controlled here. But it got out of hand. Vance tried to reign it back in but Trump lost control here. America you have a serious problem. Your president is not in charge. The people around him are. And they manipulate Trump into doing things for them.
1
JD Vance visited the leader of the right-wing AfD party in Germany one week before the election. Not the chancellor, not the majority party, a 20% party in Germany.
1
@wellhellothere6347 A local news network in LA.
1
I agree with the guests. The GOP is focused on winning elections. And once elected they immediatly begin with the next campaign. No real work is done anymore just campaigning. What I think the Democrats should consider is seperating campaigning and governing from each other. Find experts and charismatic people who just campaign for the party and people who may not be as good in campaigning but excellent in governing.
1
In the UK they consider a new law stating the duties of a member of parliament. Like holding regular townhalls, reacting to letters/emails/phone calles in a reasonable amount/time. Maybe such a law should be introduced too in America to legally define what your duties are as a congressmember. Together with a mechanism which ends your office when you repeatedly break it leading to a special election.
1
And once again this lie of a "spending spree". Come on. It's 2 trillion $ ... over 8 years. The yearly revenue of the US is 3.5 trillion $ and this number will increase with the corporate tax back to normal.
1
Intimidate the media. Getting rid of non-collaborators in the government. Getting rid of the investigators and watchdogs. Getting rid of independent law enforcement. I mean this is a pattern of someone who wants to commit crimes and want to get away with it.
1
So they first deregulate to reduce the costs to a minimum and make the maximum on profits on texan people and now that this cost reduction came back to bite the power suppliers they put the emergency costs on the customers and use the opportunity to raise prices as well!? ... That's free market and capitalism. Deregulation is only there to give more opportunities to cheat (and endanger) the customers.
1
If a person helps another get away with espionage isn't there a law making this person part liable for espionage as well?
1
Because they realized gerrymandering and electoral college is no longer enough. On fair grounds the GOP has no chance anymore. So they look for ways to make voting harder or impossible, overturning elections results, control the counting itself, controlling the ballot itself, etc.
1
Because for now there is no confirmed and convincing evidence. Someone tries to get rid of Cuomo in the next election this year and all what is currently happening is a little too accidental to be accidental. For all we know this is an attempt to stop New York investigating Trump and Republicans and all connections by replacing the Governor of New York and with that getting a hold on the Attorney Generals office in New York ... which has access to Trumps financial data. You must be blind if you not see this connection.
1
Actually it would be intresting to see who is voting against this well at least the democrats we all know how Republicans will vote, they never let go of an advantage.
1
Congrats a major achievement.
1
Losing your integrity while working in the justice system is one of the worst things you can do. Noone will ever trust you again. Integrity is a primary requirement. Directly followed by honesty.

Time to cancel her.

Excellcent interview with some people who obviously understand the backgrounds and finer points here. I can only add: Trump was a warning shot to politics that the hole system was ... maybe still is so close before something really really bad noone in the end really wants (ask the Germans about 1933 when another populist millionaire promised to make everything better/great again) and who could not be stopped after a certain point anymore. Trump was/is almost at this point. The next one will have it much easier. If Republicans continues to block bills and prevent legislation doing it's job and now even more the Democrats (hopefully with the Senate) if they not start being concerned and interested in their voters problems and finding solutions to make things better ... another maybe a little more clever but far more dangerous one will come along, again promising people a change for the better and people will vote him because neither Republicans nor Democrats brought a change. The future of democracy and potentially America itself is one the edge and it can fall to both sides if Democrats not get their things together and take up a little more progressive-ness and drop a establishment ... or next time they are out.

Science is based on: Doubt everything. [Even things which are considered correct] Belief is based on: Doubt nothing. [Especially not the belief itself] Ergo: Science and Belief are incompatibel. The more you have of one the less you have of the other. However Science is strictly constricted to Reality. Belief is not. And disregarding Science means disregarding Reality which can bring you in deep trouble to the point of even losing your life.

More like an apocalyptic lunatic.
1
How can Trump done everything when he is technically not president until monday afternoon?
1
Reminded of how some scientists works: Follow the goal no matter what and never ask if the means by what you doing or the goal itself is righteous, moral and proper. You know what this is: Blind obedience either to commands of someone or to personal goals like money or power.
1
Bankrupting America. Trumps biggest achievement in life.
1
Trump calls all immigrants illegals and criminals. I'm quite sure these were just normal people to be deported. But something must have upset the Columbian authorities with them. Until we know more I suggest you wait for more information before forming an opinion.
1
Small anecdote to "a CEO is like a dictator". They are. And every company is running under the economy model of communism called planning economy. So you can say every company is a dictatorial communistic system.
1
Stick to rules and apply the one real power you have in a democracy: Your Vote ... No matter how hard they make it for you.
1
You not making much sense. You just throw in words to a word-salad only there to somehow convince weak minds that you have actually something sensible to say. Do you think we are as gulliable as Trump voters here? Your bias pro pharma for finance is dripping throught your lines and you feel clearly threatened. Well you should be. The generations nows growing up are 80% progressive prepare for some fundamental changes your fat years are about to end.
1
@josephleishman1982 Again. You provided not one topical argument here, you only question the method and the process of scrutiny here but nothing substancial. I can summarize both your comments to "I disagree. Fake News!" as Trumpists do this normally. At which point I normally ask "Why?" and never get an answer.
1
@josephleishman1982 We are here to discuss this topic. And if you would you would get a different response from me. But instead you talk about an entirely different topic in order to distract. If you want to talk about semantics of proper debating this video is not the right place for it. EDIT: And if you want something even more extreme than watch TYT Live at 10pm UTC.
