  1. I think the more flags someone needs the less patriotic they are. Real patriots are defined by their actions not what they say or how many flags they show. The real patriots are people who place duty, country and people above themselves without even needing a flag.

I can live with that and even respect that but we do not debate about opinions we debate about facts and frankly the truth is indisputable. There is no middle ground between true and not true and I cannot have a debate with someone who has not even the correct and all facts. This is what right-wing media has done.   9. There is a theory out there that this overvaluing all started when Trump failed to buy the Buffalo Football Club. Trump needed to prove he actually has the wealth to pay for it and sustain it but he couldn't reach the value and had no paperwork. He provided an article of Forbes as "evidence" of wealth. So he realized he need documents for the next deal or loan and it's assumed this is when he started to overvalue for prove of wealth and undervalued for taxation as needed. And it just gotten worse and worse over the years.

Meaning if let's say something happens to a worker in his factory due to problematic work environments or a customer even due to a malfunctioning software in one of his cars the damages he has to pay for that are pathetically low.

Maybe it already happened to this granddad (that someone in his family is gay) and he now tries to find someone or something to blame for it still thinking you can "become" LGBTQ+ by reading about it or being teached about it. I think it scares him that some people just are and that this is only natural and uncontrollable. In worst case he might be (maybe a little) but had to pretend otherwise all his life. Suppressed emotions can do strange things to people over such a long period right to the point of wanting to make society suffer for his suppressed feelings and having to live a life of lies and pretense.

Minmaxing profits and doing everything what is legal to achieve that ... or what you can get away with. See and thats the problem. Lack of regulations, lack of transparency, lack of accountability, lack of fair tax paying, lack of proper law enforcement towards cooperations, lack of worker protections, lack of environmental protections, lack of proper wage-minimums to allow a living, etc. And all this is controlled by politicians in Congress and the Whitehouse ... and the judges in SCOTUS of course. And why does it not improve. Well because they made bribery legal (aka "campaign donations"). Since then cooperations just buy politicans ... because it's legal which makes this just a bussiness decission (do you get more out than it costs).

But if there would be evidence, and she would be indicted, and she would be prosecuted and she would be convincted .... what do you promise yourself from this? Trump got president. However he also said that the GOP will never pass it and most likely not even bring it to a vote to not embarrass the party in front of the public.

They want someone to tell them what to do and where to go and who to believe. And since the right wing news told them for 40 years "all politicians (except the GOP) are liars" they go one step back further to christian fundamentalism and hope it helps. But all the real life problems remain. The GOP want power, not solutions. Quite the contrary the more problems there are (or voters think there are) the easier it is to get power.

  48. The question why we deal with trans now is a good one. The GOP made it a topic. They shove it into the face of everybody and making it a fear and a topic. It's GOP key topic to fearmonger and divide on something people know very little about and since it has only 1% it's no electoral problem for the GOP. It is their scapegoat and "squirrill" and distraction from 50 years of mismanagement to be seen especially in red states. And they make it even more so a topic because the GOP's treatment reaches a discrimination level which makes the moderates come to their defensive. It is a manipulation tactic designed to seed anger and hate and dividide society. A divided society is busy with itself and is not looking at the 1% robbing everyone. And a divided society makes it easier to get elected on unpopular policies like making the rich even richer or taking the right for women away to self-control and beeing free.
