  9. I've dated a lawyer, and yes, they will observe every facial tick and physical reaction people have to things because it's all relevant. It can all be used in a case. You can point out how nervous someone looks, or how they look away when they try to claim a thing, or how they are far too calm for someone being accused of something horrendous.

  26. First, the states generally aren't the ones collecting the debt. Most of it is federal. Second, the debt wasn't being paid in the first place. So they weren't getting anything anyway. Third, people being relived of debt thus have more disposable income, which means they have more to spend into the economy which is massively beneficial to EVERYONE.

When it was first being used, it basically meant someone who was awake to the injustices of the world, be it racism, sexism, income inequality, corruption, etc... But the right has basically picked it up to mean "anything that doesn't support Republican fascist narratives". You want equal rights? You're woke. You want fair pay? You're woke. You don't want to be murdered by cops for no reason? You're woke. You want elected officials to represent you? You're woke. You're against treason? You're woke.
