  1. I'm in Ontario. In my area there are countless single homes (the 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom types) that are empty, because people can't afford them. Meanwhile they're building up thousands upon thousands MORE such homes... even though the last huge swathes of such homes they built are still vacant. They keep trying to build these nice homes that cost a fortune, ignoring the fact that nobody can live in them. Meanwhile all the apartment buildings are full, finding a one or two bedroom apartment in my area is pretty much impossible. And any that do come up for rent are ridiculously overpriced because of how rare they are. They need to be building huge areas of affordable housing.

  3. When someone refuses to answer a basic yes or no question, they need to simply cut them off and answer for them. "Can you support someone who calls for the termination of the Constitution? Yes or no?" Well, you see... "So your answer is YES. You are in favor of terminating the Constitution. Moving on..." Because it should IMMEDIATELY be a no answer to that. Anything else is 100% unacceptable and a violation of their oath TO the Constitution.

  12. They care about preventing people from voting in general. While they do affect their base somewhat, they've generally gerrymandered areas so that they know specifically where to target. So they'll have all the Dems and minorities in one massive district, and then put a single voting location or drop box on one end of that district, knowing it will take multiple hours for people to drive out to get there. And combine that with reducing the hours people can vote, forcing them to have to skip work for the day (which they know most people can't), and giving them extra hoops to jump through once they actually get there... it makes it vastly harder for people in that district to vote. Meanwhile in other districts, they'll have a voting location every few blocks, so that Republicans can reach a voting location in minutes.

  48. I'm also getting so sick and tired of people claiming "I can't wear a mask for medical reasons". I've talked to several doctors, all of whom have said there's absolutely NO medical reason that someone can't wear a mask. Even people with the most critical breathing issues will often be given masks to wear during their stays in hospitals. It's simply NOT a health risk in any way. Hell, my friend's 90+ year old grandfather, who survived lung cancer and carries around one of those oxygen tanks on wheels everywhere can wear a mask just fine. He actually uses his oxygen mask THROUGH his medical mask, because the medical mask DOES NOT prevent the flow of oxygen. It simply prevents the flow of moisture droplets and bacteria. Then you have that fake "get out of wearing a mask" card that some idiots made up that reference some completely non-existant organization that people have been ordering off the internet and constantly throwing in peoples' faces claiming it means they can run around freely infecting people. It does not. In fact some places are now looking at legal action against anyone who presents one of those cards (which I hope happens worldwide at this point, with harsh penalties). Can a mask be uncomfortable? Yes. But then there's lots of different mask designs to help with that. Can a mask prevent you getting the needed amount of oxygen? No. Countless studies have shown that it has ZERO impact on your oxygen intake. Can a mask make you choke on CO2 that you're breathing out? No. Again, they've studied and researched it and found that it has ZERO impact on that. It's very simple. WEAR A MASK AND STOP SPREADING THE PANDEMIC. Stop being an entitled asshole who is MURDERING other people by spreading an easily controllable disease that countries all over the world have under control because THEY'RE NOT STUPID ENOUGH TO ARGUE ABOUT WEARING A MASK!
