I'm Jewish. I've been to countless holiday events for Christian friends and the like. It's not big deal.
Yes, some Jewish folks keep kosher. But if that was an issue for them, they'd let you know ahead of time.
Myself, I love bacon, no way I could keep kosher. lol
But I've shown up to Xmas parties wearing "ugly Hanukkah sweaters". I swap gifts, because I know that's something them Christian folks like. I mean, they have to make the most they can out of that one day. They're not as fortunate as Jewish folks who get to enjoy eight days of gifts. :p
I respect the faiths and customs of others. I might not share them, but there's no issues with taking part in events and ceremonies. I've been to mass with Christian friends. I've attended christenings, and Christmas parties, and other such things. I've said grace at a holiday dinner, because being thankful for what you have has nothing to do with religion and everything to do with appreciating the good things life has brought you.
I'm going to be getting together with my wife's family for Xmas. Like I have every year for the last ten years. I've had Christian friends over for Passover and to celebrate Hanukkah.
I mean, it's a holiday. The point isn't about faith, it's about spending time with loved ones.
