  6. Its possible, but usually only for Religious/Spiritual convictions sake will a man choose & be able to be all three. Some will do it out of their definition of love or defined relationship agreements, religion aside, but maybe to a lesser degree.

  8. That's what an Easter hunt is. The older kids always find more. I do think in their situation it should of/could of been set up differently since it was just 2 kids with an age gap.

  9. You have that one backwards. The child must learn that antics & outburst don't work. Certain things are not up for discussion & the child must realize that. For example the Father in the toy scenario (when the child asks for it ) could say "yes", or "maybe later--I'll think about, " he might add "if you're good", etc, or say "no." The child needs to learn to accept "no" when told its not up for discussion.

  28. That's still pointing out what they did wrong & could easily be taken as criticism. Unless someone's in mortal danger by it not being corrected immediately, seems like that is not the time to highlight & correct what wasn't done to perfection whether you're wanting to help them fix it or not. The point is to highlight the positive aspects & reward those. ( Doesn't mean you don't ever help or teach them about the part that wasn't "100%" just need discernment & discretion about when it's most productive to occur.) Unless it's a situation where the person is actively seeking to know whether something was done to perfection/satisfaction, of course that's different when they want to know if they can do something in a more satisfactory way & are asking for that type of immediate feedback.

  29. An example would be if a little child came up to you, smiling & proudly gave you a picture they drew for you, you wouldn't say, "you could do better at" this part or that part. That could easily crush the spirit of their gift. You'd praise their effort/sentiment & then another separate time you could sit down to draw with them & you draw a picture that better embodies the realism of the flower, person, whatever & let them see it on their own accord, or preferably watch you draw it, so you're actually teaching them. No need to explain or criticize the ones they drew. - April L
