You got any mirrors in your house?
1
The “poor cop” was facing time anyway, for tax evasion.
1
You’ve probably done much worse in your time
1
Say that when this happens to someone you actually care about.
1
Petty crime even if he knew.
1
Female 1: He’s about to pass out. Thomas Lane: I think he passing out. Derek Chauvin: You guys all right, though ? Thomas Lane: Yeah
1
Then why did he try to plea bargain 3rd degree murder shortly after it happened?
1
@popularshows6433 That was a poor reenactment, starting with the cuffs. No bruises afterward = not enough pressure.
1
@popularshows6433 You didn’t even watch the trial. Left side of his face, left shoulder.
1
@popularshows6433 Not scratches, bruises. He was pushed pretty hard into that pavement, Crowder wasn’t.
1
I think he’ll get 3rd degree
1
Let he who is without sin cast the first stone...
1
Victim blame much? If it hadn’t been Mr Floyd it would have been someone else soon enough. This cop was living above the law, look into it.
1
@karlosthejackel69 Cop’s facing 9 counts of felony tax evasion on top of all this.
1
& if it hadn’t been recorded it would have been swept under the rug with the rest. Keep recording.
1
You’re right, a felon cop is off the streets. Too bad he took 3 other cops with him, they seemed more humane but what can you do, personal responsibility, right?
1
@patricks-man5635 Your cop’s a career felon too, 9 counts of felony tax evasion up until this arrest. Not to mention all the prior police misconduct. Now maybe, just maybe, you can see them as equal & focus on what actual happened instead of spending your time victim blaming.
1
I’m not a fan of dealers but if we accept this excessive force it continues on the next person. So even if you hate this man, it is not OK. This cannot become the norm.
1
Ems Life Quit saying “we” like you represent a race.

Misdemeanor under $1,000 in Minnesota...Meanwhile, Chauvin’s 9 counts of tax evasion = felony.
1
@nevysnova In Minnesota, penalties for knowingly passing or offering fake currency depend on the face value of the currency or the amount of property or services the person attempted to obtain. If the face value or property or services sought are less than $1,000, the crime is a misdemeanor with a maximum penalty of one year's jail time.
1
@nevysnova Show me a sample case of someone from Minnesota facing a felony for passing a fake $20.
1
@nevysnova Way to avoid proving your claim... Resisting arrest is a loose term btw. He didn’t resist the actual arrest, he resisted being placed in the back seat. Whether he truly had claustrophobia or not, I don’t know yet but I do know that Chauvin has about 20 misconduct cases. One included a 14 year old that Chauvin used a neck restraint on in 2017 & and 2 more in 2019, all 3 of the positions were held too long... One of the guys he choked unconscious simply had “tensed up” is that resisting in your eyes?
1
@nevysnova It’s a misdemeanor with a max 1 year sentence.
1
@RyanJerdon Or you could just google “Why are asphyxia deaths so difficult to prove” instead of being lazy & arrogant.
1
The brain got cut off, it needs 20%. Dr Tobin already explained this...
1
Blood choke cuts off the jugular on the side.
1
@the_99misc Get some glasses
1
Taser.
1
The cop? Hell yeah, get that hothead off the street.
1
Victim blaming doesn’t stop police brutality
1
If that’s worth the death penalty to you maybe you should look into the cop’s tax evasion case.
1
@liberaldumbfuck4808 So use a grappler.
1
Female 1: He’s about to pass out. Thomas Lane: I think he passing out. Derek Chauvin: You guys all right, though ? Thomas Lane: Yeah
1
@FungusMossGnosis No, they didn’t. The paramedic, Seth Bravinder, said he was dead when he first got there & that he was dead when he dropped him off at the hospital.
1
@jenntip You must have missed DrTobin’s testimony where he covered his respiratory rate...
1
The chief of police is the hero
1
He didn’t fight to his death though, Einstein
1
@MudFlapShoes We’ve all seen the same videos, we all know he had an issue getting in the back seat of the car. He was cuffed though & not a huge threat. His threat rate decreased as time went by = not fighting until death. They had him unconscious & still felt threatened enough to hold their positions? Please...
1
@MudFlapShoes It was far from that simple. Quit defending a bad cop, he had a history of misconduct & evaded taxes for years. He didn’t even respect his own peers to listen & do the right thing.
1
Employees are trained not to accept them. They use a special marker. If you pay with your credit card & it gets declined it’s the same situation. The clerk isn’t going to say “Have a nice day” then call the cops, right?
1
Correct, the MPD listed intoxication as one of the criteria for not using a neck restraint: 2. Neck restraints shall not be used against subjects who are passively resisting as defined by policy. (04/16/12) b. Consider whether a subject’s lack of compliance is a deliberate attempt to resist or an inability to comply based on factors including, but not limited to: · Medical conditions · Mental impairment · Developmental disability · Physical limitation · Language barrier · Influence of drug or alcohol use · Behavioral crisis
1
@Drawfornoone The way he did it was not trained or approved. He used his knee instead of arms or thighs. It is used mainly to get cuffs on and then you are supposed to put the suspect in the recovery position.
1
Most of his arrests were for possession or petty theft. Only one felony & he did his time. Chauvin has another felony trial set in June for tax evasion, that’ll be his 2nd felony. Looks like your bad cop is more of a criminal than the dead man you’re mocking.
1
Good thing you’re not on the jury, you obviously weren’t paying attention.
1
@itsmeforsure5475 Then why are you posting an analysis?
1
@dluvv19761 Both the chief of police & Chauvin’s trainer testified otherwise
1
Well it’s the last time for this cop. Even if they give him a light sentence, he’s going down for felony tax evasion. Keep recording
1
Get some glasses
1
Supguy Passive resistance due to medical conditions (claustrophobia, COVID) or intoxication = no neck restraint allowed. It was in their policy manual & Chauvin knew better. He’d just gotten away with it too many times to care.
