  11. I want a choice in who provides my healthcare not who makes me go bankrupt paying for it. The "choice" in insurance argument is just a corpate talking point. When you are facing a cancer diagnosis do you want to have to choose a payment plan? I would much rather simply have the ability to ask my doctor who is the best expert in dealing with my issue. Besides I have never had a choice in my insurance company. The corporate HR department makes that decision for me. My employer tells me if you work here you have to pay for this "benefit" unless you can prove you have insurance from elsewhere. As a single person ofcourse I don't have any other coverage so I have no choice but to let my employer take money out of my paycheck and give it to the insurance company they picked for me.

The lack of any plan to help people is why the voters voted for a strong man who told them everyone would have healthcare and it would cost them less.   23. Conservatives are really fighting for corporations and the ruling oligarchy. Centrist are fighting for the status quo which now is corporate interests. Social Democrats are fighting for a Scandinavian model which actual requires government protect the interests of the citizens. We live in a time where the statue quo doesn't work for most people we have been loosing ground for 40 years and we know it while the rich get richer so the centrist are proven to now have the answer. The question then becomes which of the other two choices is the right direction and people are starting to wake up to the fact that corporations only fight for the wealthy owners not the workers. So the answer becomes clear when you have actual policies to compare not scary buzzwords.

Or they could if the unemployment office wasn't under staffed themselves and unable to help those people get through the system. The irony of an understaffed unemployment office where would they every find help?

We need to make sure that if anyone comes out later and claims this was righteous gets slapped in the face with the reality that you can't destroy our democracy in an attempt to save it. There is a very clear method to deal with a president who is unfit for office two of them infact. Impeachment by Congress or the 25 ammendment by the cabinet. If your unwillingness to follow the law of our country and take the correct action required of you by the law you need to step down and let someone else do the job.

  33. The question is will Congress impeach and remove the president who violated the constitutional rights of Congress to declare war? We need to remove Trump for abusing his power as commander in chief because he doesn't have the right to use the military without congressional approval unless there is an immediate threat to the USA. The trump administration can't simply murder heads of state who are "bad guys" for being bad.

  34. Hillary lost to Trump for the same reason she lost to Obama and every other corporatist lost to both Trump and Obama. For the last three elections in a row the antiestablishment change candidate won. Both Obama and Trump ran on change both ran on ending the forever wars. Sadly they both failed to do what they ran on. But clearly the most electable candidate is the one who will actually give us change we desperately want someone who will end the oil wars. That is Bernie Sanders not Joe Biden because we don't want to go back to the situation which gave us Trump.

  42.  @bsadewitz  actually IIRC over 70% of all Americans favor Medicare for All and over 90% of all democratic voters. So the citizens by a large majority do understand how they would be better off. It is the donors whom Biden told nothing will fundamentally change that don't want the change to happen.

When fox make up a story about caravans of illegal immigrants and send reporters to Guatemala and literally accuse two random people walking down the street in their home town of being part of a caravan headed to the USA that is fearmongering and it is a real example of what they did. When Greta entered the IPCC report into congressional records as her testimony she is literally just telling Congress to read the report and believe what the scientists who where commissioned to put the report together said. The fact that she is outraged by political leaders not actually acting on the evidence they have had for over half a century is 100% justified.
