  4. Alexander Ocasio-Cortez and Bernie Sanders are showing us how you move forward politically. We run on a platform which is focused on the citizens not corporations. When you look at the situation from that perspective you get Medicare for All helping all Americans putting their health over profits of corporations. You get politicans in favor of a living wage as well because it puts workers interests over profits for share holders. You get the climate change policies as well to refocus our energy sector to renewable because it helps the health and employment opportunities for the citizens. But you start with politicians who put citizens before corporate profits.

  20. Ok I can address this peoblem with taxes. Set the minimum wage to a living wage linked to inflation. Then set the standard deduction to 150% of the minimum wage as a 40 hour work week for 52 weeks pay. Make that the only deduction and set a progressive tax structure with the top marginal bracket at 90%. Also tax all earning as income regardless of source. See how easy that is.

They discussed iowa yesterday for 15 minutes or so and managed to mention literally every other candidate but Warren and Bernie Sanders. They are manufacturing consent with the best of them.

Because that is what you fail to understand is Bernie Sanders wants to make Healthcare the same a public roads no cost at the point of service and our entire society pays for it based on a progressive tax structure. The other candidates never tell you how much you will have to pay as an individual to buy health insurance from the government. They are just trying to trick you into a public option added to the ACA by calling it Medicare which it is not.

  40. Medicare and Medicaid today are the highest risk pools in our society. Today private sector insurance companies cherry pick the healthiest people. Pete is offering you a public option on the ACA so you can buy into the high risk pool of government insurance. No one wants that. What we want is single payer Medicare for All so that the risk pool is 100% of the society and the costs are covered by our progressive tax code not our individual buy in.

  46. It is time to simply replace these end of life pipelines with offshore wind and solar plus storage. How much methane is leaking into the environment every day from these pipes according climate change? Oil companies who refused to keep their systems safe don't deserve the chance to build a new system they need to be told we are all done with your product. Repeal the GOP tax cuts and use that 6 trillion dollars to build renewable energy.

  49. You reduce the dependency on SA oil by removing the demand for oil in the economy the technology was there in 2008. But Obama choose to having a fracking boom instead of the Solar Boom that China and India are having or the off shore Wind Boom that Europe is having. It is bad policy to pollute our ground water fracking because we refuse to switch to modern renewable energy. It has cost us a new renewable energy based economy of the future. Your short term thinking has allowed China to pass us in solar PV production.
