They should back Marianne Williamson if he pulls the same shit he pulled on the rail union.
1
Doing the same thing over and over again and looking for different results defines 2 party first past the post politics. We need rank choice voting and more parties to end the duopoly.
1
@owlcowl Australia has proven RCV works and Maine has proven we can get it in the USA with voter referendum. That is a path that works in more than half the states. I don't disagree with the other reforms I just don't know what the path to getting them is.
1
@Tijggie82 what did AOC just say the other day about the 3 vote margin??? You can ask questions all day to try and deflect from responsibility for choices made. But all you are doing is rationalization of the status quo. And playing the powerless victim card same as the conservatives try to do
1
@Wudman no actual Kyle Kulinski the co founder of Justice Democrats has been very clear he wanted to name it the left tea party because the goal was to use the same tactics of voting as a block and not agreeing to let anything pass until you got what you were sent there to do done. He has called them out several times and left the organization because they are using a "inside" approach the doesn't work instead of an outside disruption approach the the organization was founded to have.
1
@Tijggie82 there are 117 cosponsors of Medicare for All in the house right now. By your logic that means not one of them is currupt even though with 117 cosponsors they can't even get a vote on the legislation. 🤣🤣🤣 that seems reasonable.
1
@Tijggie82 again you use the argument that because others are bad we should look the other way when AOC does bad things.
1
@Tijggie82 those who refuse to study history are doomed to repeat it. You need to learn from Nancy Pelosi and the entire Democratic party leadership since FDR put Medicare in the platform but you refuse to so we know where that leaves you. Have a nice day. There is no point is talking to someone deaf as a fence post.
1
@Tijggie82 no I am just done with your trolling you are now on the mute list.
1
@ProjectRedfoot oh no it would be more like a nasty cat fight.
1
The forcing loans on companies and forcing all people with loans into forbearance and foreclosure is the goal of the current bailout. Steve Manchin got where he is by forcing 6 million Americans out of there homes.
1
Well you can be sure presidental security is covered by the federal government. There was a story a while back about how he went to Pennsylvania I think it was and said about 2 words about some smaller state race at the start of his rally so he could write it off in some other budget category but I don't remember the details.
1
@baz hennessy you missed the point. Punching someone in the face doesn't convince them your position is correct it only proves you are a jerk. Watch the video again and compare how Jordan listens to her and than wins her over to our progressive position and compare that which how someone will react the the comments here.
1
Bernie Sanders will walk away with NH. His support keeps going up here.
1
She isn't acting she is until the next season of Congress. She is just making sure the donors get what they paid for in the class warfare.
1
If trump is in debt to Russians his debt just dropped in value. It would be the ideal time for him to pay it back.
1
I plan on voting for Marianne Williamson in the primary and if she isn't the nominee West in the general it will send a stronger message to the establishment
1
"The wealthy people are making jobs for you" as he talks to an independent reporter who is crowd funded by grass roots. 🤣🤣🤣 this guy has no clue who he is talking to Jordan is a self employed startup.
1
@KiithNaabal it will outrage people and make them fight back. Too many are already back against the wall by our oligarchy
1
Jordan the issue with the October argument is that it wasn't a honest offer from Trump and the GOP because Mitch McConnell wasn't on board. But you are correct that the Democratic party is only giving you the same evil choice that the GOP thought was the worse case for the wealthy. But the reality is we are still only talking about 10% of what the federal reserve created in new currency in 2020. That is the real story. The federal reserve creating 20 trillion dollars and determining where it goes is the real story of how the wealthy are screwing us over. Why are we debating 2 trillion dollars in Congress but not talking about 20 trillion dollars from the federal reserve flowing into the stock market?
1
@BloodyMaori oh another champion of the billionaire class. Nice to see someone is willing to defend the the oppressed billionaires. Tell me does the richest man on earth pay you for that service or do you do it out of the goodness of your heart for free?
1
I liked Tulsi before she became the Medicare sellout. Keeping the private sector insurance with Medicare for all at the same time will simply make Medicare the insurance of last resort. Private health insurance companies will simply drop people who are sick on the government. Medicare choice is code words for privatizing the profits and socializing the costs.
1
Trianabfine you clearly didn't read what I wrote or you don't understand how for profit insurance works today. Old people who get sick where not able to afford private insurance decades ago it is why we started Medicare in the first place. Private insurance forced them out and onto the government in an effort to maximize profits. If the private sector is allowed to continue to sell coverage for services covered by Medicare they will simply keep the profit and force anyone who is actually sick to be on Medicare. If you don't understand that you don't understand how for profit insurance works.
1
Trianabfine sure private insurance will set low rates for single people under 45. They will take all the low risk people and set insane high rates for the rest forcing them onto Medicare. Privatizing the profits and socializing the costs. By the way I did read your comment but you don't understand how insurance companies maximize profits and force the costs of high risk people onto the government today. The public option is simply a way for the private sector to make more profit nothing else.
1
Trianabfine you are kidding correct? Because to say that 100% of the people under 45 will simply choose to switch away from an employer provided benefit for Medicare for All but that the same people will vote against a candidate who wants to give them Medicare for All with progressive taxation to pay for it is laughable. I mean your argument is that people will want a system where they have to pay for the health insurance out of pocket vs having Medicare for All where the government funds the health insurance from progressive taxation. I for one would rather Jeff Bezos use some of his "winning" to fund my health insurance. I call them winnings because even Jeff Bezos doesn't consider his vast wealth as earning. He calls them winnings that he can't find any other usage for them to literally launch it into space. While his employees are largely temporary workers lacking health insurance. Bernie Sanders did shame him into paying $15 per hour as president Bernie Sanders will tax Jeff Bezos wealth and use those funds to actually help the workers who generate that wealth.
1
Trianabfine well for the insurance companies to fail when they have only the most profitable people it will take 100% of them leaving. So you definitely implied it. But you didn't answer why these people who will choose Medicare for All over private sector insurance would not vote for Medicare for All. Why they feel the need for the choice of paying the government instead of having a single payer system paid for by progressive taxation. Or is it that there is no argument to be made for not following the lead of other developed countries so you got triggered by the 100%?
1
Trianabfine nice defeatist attitude.
1
Trianabfine it is defeatist to say a progressive can not win when 2 of the top 3 candidates are progressive and the 3rd is falling in the polls.
1
Trianabfine same level of defeatism.
1
Trianabfine well you can choose to not take part if you feel it is predetermined but I will be voting so you failed to disenfranchise this voter. You will have to try someone else have a nice day
1
If Bernie blocked her Biden would not have cover to pick someone more right wing next.
1
@GeraBrown well you are definitely triggered. As to waiting for evidence you must mean you wait for it to literally land in your lap. But AOC said she voted for Nancy Pelosi as speaker simply because she agreed to the $15 minimum wage Nancy Pelosi had agreed to before during the election cycle.
1
Then vote Marianne Williamson in the primary
1
Well ofcourse not he is keeping the one promise he cared about nothing will fundamentally change.
1
The ACA gives Biden the authority to extend Medicare to everyone in East Palestine and the surrounding area same a Liberty Montana.
1
@RylkoBM-ij8ojcorporations are capitalism.
1
The goal is to deflect attention from anything that helps the working class and costs the wealthy class. If they can force you to think about one thing like abortion you are not seeing the bigger picture of class warfare playing out in our society.
1
@IMeMineWho not sure I follow how your comment is a response to my comment. You didn't address anything to do with the point I was making.
1
Biden bands off 😂 that must be what you call rigging the primary by skipping the first states he lost in 2020 and refusing to debate the other candidates in the primary just acting like there is no primary.
1
@eileenmc4746 Well living just over the border and listening to the canadates in the Maine governors race I would disagree with the mostly conservative estimate of the population there are some pretty progressive candidates in that race ones who would be laughed off the stage in NH unfortunately.
1
@eileenmc4746 you want Chris Sununu I would be happy to let you have him and his false claims of being an environmentalist.
1
Why would anyone question someone who was so successful with Hillary????
1
Marianne would be a great VP for Jill Stein
1
Yup and i suspect I will end up voting for both of them.
1
Lol by a republican appointed court. You would seem more honest if you pointed out that in half a century the democrats failed to pass legislation to make Roe the law of the land.
1
Bernie Sanders should have followed up the 30 years comment by reminding Elizabeth Warren she was a Republican in 1990 when Bernie Sanders was defeating a Republican.
1
Unfortunately I think it is much more likely that he will follow H Ross Porot and get maybe 5%.. the duopoly has too much of a lock without rank choice voting
1
@Catloves997 the entire point of the people taking back power from the elite is that we will need to get leadership the elites won't like.
1
@kimberleymckay5949 show me one which disqualifies Tulsi Gabbard because I am willing to bet you can't.
1
If that 95% of voters under 35 shows up at the primary and votes Williamson they won't have to hold their noise for Biden he won't be the nominee
