  21. Those bonuses are the scam. What percentage of workers actually make the incentive pay? That is the same idea as selling cars on commission you could make that money but in reality you never will. The entire reason companies use this type of compensation is because they know they can pay out less in a one time bonus to some employees then a higher living wage will cost them to all employees.

  24. While I would love to see the bonus stay the reality is bonus and incentive are money you seldom see. Typically only a few employees actually get the bonus and then the next year if too many people make the incentive pay they raise the bar. I would much rather see the base pay be a living wage and know I will get paid a living wage. I write this off as a win still because the reality is that bonuses are not dependable and should never be factored into how you pay your monthly bills. Cenk is out of touch with the people making $15 or less an hour if he thinks they can afford to hold onto stock options and cash out when the stocks double again. These people need the money to pay the landlord first of the month

Samuel Spacek I guess you need to attend one of AOC Rallies then you would know she wants to get poor people a living wage and jobs so they can live without welfare and have a dignified lifestyle. Unlike our current GOP controlled government which wants to keep wages so low that the jobs they "create" require that someone working full time also be on welfare because Walmart and Amazon refuse to pay a living wage while the owners are some of the wealthiest people on the planet.
