  50.  @thedogfatherjt2243  I don't know I keep hoping that things are not actually as bad as they look. Then something else more outrageous happens. I make the comparison to the rise of fascism in Nazi Germany because the parallels are shocking. But I think the reality is that come November the true power here will want the appearance of a democracy. They have picked the next president who will insure nothing fundamentally changes in Biden. I suspect the game now is to let that transition take place and hope it quiets the masses from fear of the fascist who would have been king. But I think the real story in the USA is the little covered ecominic protests that Kyle Kulinski covered the other day in NYC. The people are waking up to the fact that income inequality is the real problem with our society that identity politics on both sides have been used to divide the public. But the entire time the billionaires have been robbing us all blind even profiting during the pandemic. I honestly don't think the issue in America is the trump supporting fascist leaning people they are a minority in reality 30% or so of Republicans in a society where half of the population doesn't vote. So say 15 to 20% of the population at large. That is enough to cause trouble but not enough to start a civial war. They will be rounded up by our militarize police force easy enough if they do more than walk their assault weapons in public. The real problems will come when the 50 million Americans who filed unemployment over the last 6 months are evicted from their homes. Something like half of all business rents and 1/3 of all home mortgages and rentals are months past due. Once the foreclosures and evictions follow that is what I fear. If people thought 6 million homes foreclosed on in 2009 was bad they haven't seen anything. I fear we are looking at the next great depression.
