There is no equivalent mandate that all citizens eat at a public restaurant. Exposing yourself to risk eating out is 100% your own personal choice.

  40. The temperature wasn't the route cause of the crisis though. Deregulation and refusal to join the national grid was what causes the crisis. There where about 400,000 people in Texas who never lost power because they are on the national grid and their power plant was winterized. This is a failure of leadership. The GOP convinced Texas they where safer depending on corporations that put profit over people to protect them than government regulations. We now see the failure of that blind belief in unregulated markets.
