  6. Correct. A real opposition party would have said the last administration cut these taxes by 14% so I will raise them 14% above the pre cut level to raise revenue. Let Congress start at a tax proposal above the 35%. This is a way to insure whatever happens companies win. Expecally since the bought Congress will negotiate it down to 23% before this is over and call it bipartisan.

  8. Nuclear power plants take decades to bring online. They are the most expensive form of new energy. Only a fool who wants to waste time and money would build new nuclear power in 2022.

  18. We need to actually build new infrastructure that is based on renewable energy and electricity everything. That is how simply taxing the working class isn't enough it does nothing to fix the real problem a society committing genocide with our energy sector.

Not to mention that per capita the USA still has a worse carbon footprint. But compare 360 million to 1.398 billion humans. I mean the fact that they have more than 1 billion more people living in china might mean in raw numbers they would use more energy than the USA

The fact remains the same a single large company that is able to hold the government hostage with no moral hazard because the government can't allow them to fail is far more dangerous than many smaller companies. The bailout of the financial sector in 2008 proved this fact. That you have connections in the sector who held the government hostage doesn't lend credibility to your argument.

It is also impossible for governments to regulate large industries that hold them hostage as proven the the total lack of regulations that resulted from the 2008 financial crisis. You fail to understand how power works in a caplistist society.

If you don't approve of the carbon footprint in china stop outsourcing your carbon footprint there by buying chinese goods. Because the reality is they only built the energy grid they have to build your imported goods.

The oil companies own the fuel in the tanks and set the price the stores don't buy the fuel in bulk they simply process the sales for the oil companies. I know because I discussed it with several store owners years ago. There are very few independent stations that buy the fuel in bulk.

I live off grid with solar so be careful who you choose to attack as an armchair environmentalist. As you push the most expensive solution with the biggest waste problem
