@sriramsakura it's quite telling that you don't have an answer to a simple question. You could not name 3 functionaries who can carry out your fantastical villainous narrative and you are telling a native what the politics of the land is. This is what happens when you throw away your history and pretend to celebrate it. Tell me how many DMK leaders can speak a sentence in classical Tamil, then teach me about my own state.

@ghhhit9228 thanks. But do realise there is a grain of truth to the other side as well. For the sake of national integration there should be empathy for the earning state, how will KA which is the 3 most water deficient state feel when it is unable to announce a farm waiver but Bihar and UP announce them? The spending States should be engaged in capacity building but most engage in welfarism.

That was Brussels, Belgium.

We have already made this mistake once. It's not purely trade, it's also who gets rich off it. If it is the local elites, they will simply restart violence when they perceive "outsider influence"(read economic competition) and dress it up as political subjugation. True for every state in India with nativist politics.

@Valkyri3Z how many were destroyed might I ask?

Only way he can redeem himself is by converting to Islam. That "Jahil". 🤔

Anything else?

1. The author of the piece is Karan Deep Singh, based in Delhi. He makes it sound like NYT got in on a secret, investigated and found a goldmine. American public schools in disadvantaged areas have better facilities than most elite Indian private schools.(music, sports, practicals, gymnasiums and much more) 2. The article is an editorial not a news analysis piece. America has nothing to learn from the Delhi education model. It's both a feel good piece and a way to nudge American society to focus on a topic(China has better public transport, Europe has cheaper healthcare etc).

@akshaytakkar6747 we are already producing mid and high level employees. What we need is low end manufacturing that adds 200-400M jobs. For that we need to attract businesses like china did with land, labour and judicial reforms. We already have a diaspora of 150 million who are the upper crust of the western society, even if 2% of them return, that adds 3 million entrepreneurs with use cases in the market. Again, AI and Automation means nothing without complex demand. You might have seen how many kids in the west are already at market level without education while the median worker in India is not ready even with things as simple as working in a team. This is the end product of living in an industrial society. Hand a 3D printer to a kid in the most privileged primary school in India and an average upper class kid in the developed world and see the difference.
7
Land, labour and judiciary first. Education will take care of itself.

He is not right in any form. I have posted a detailed critique of his position. Don't want copy pasta so please respond to that.

No thanks 🙏

@chinmaydubey4710 this thread is a demonstration of why Modi is in power. A clearly Pakistani handle mocks a tragedy conflating it with defence budget. A person responds without hali galoch. And guess who is getting questioned. 😂
7
That path was explored and abandoned. He is not treading some new path.

Uddhav literally looks like that beat down Shiba Inu from that meme...

@Vizorfam yes Modi's downfall was waiting for DB's comments. 👍😂💪🤡

There is no use blaming builders or the government when people incentivise illegal activities.
6
Is that why Ambedkar insisted on a complete population transfer?
6
That is what happens when you systematically choose a human farm education system, domestic substitution instead of trade volumes and continuous subsidisation of the poor. You find out your median population isn't economically competitive.
6
Complete solidarity from India, we recognise this is a battle for survival.

@n______n26 he was working? 🤔

@libshastra TV wasn't the pop medium at that time. It was newspapers and magazines. Read about the usual suspects and how they were rewarded. Here is an example: Prannoy Roy pioneers psephology for the masses and opinion polls working for India Today. Predicts a Rajiv victory, next year, establishes NDTV providing production for DD. 🤔
6
If this extremely charitable view was true, you wouldn't learn anything from the user experience layer.
6
The logic behind the criticism is that he isn't learning from people who have put this into place. He will come away from this experience from the axiom of labour laws and employee welfare. They will pass a law penalising transport companies raising their costs. This was the theme across every sector in the UPA era.

@markvelber8664 since you don't get it: 1. No one in the chain from manufacturers to owners think in terms of experience because of basic economics. What matters is the productivity of the unit. Most Indian trucks carry between 10-25 tonnes and American trucks carry 20-44 tonnes. I'd have shared the report if it wasn't private. But you can verify this visually. American trucks carry a shipment container directly from ports and Indian trucks have half the space and need to be loaded manually. You can visualise the manhours, turnaround time and cost savings. 2. This video also makes a very inane point on ownership i.e. owning the vehicle makes manufacturers prioritise driver comfort. If that was true independent of basic economics, our entry level cars would be fitted with heated/cooled bucket seats. 3. You don't learn by asking end users. You learn and develop by understanding your capabilities, identifying leap targets and reacting to your environment iteratively.
6
Contrary view: 1. HDI is useless without factors of production. 2. India is over governed. When everything is important, nothing is.

In the south too.

Hope he comes to power.

I want to vote for someone else, but then this guy and Kejriwal open their mouth and I'm finding the next button with a lotus symbol.

Yeah. Only the US is allowed to do that.

@Avinashm7 what is the use of studying engineering when you can't even build a helicopter on your own?

What is the bluff here?😂

1. Creating artificial demand is a mechanism used by countries in middle income trap, not under developed countries like ours. 2. Encouraging consumerism using welfare is a bad idea that history has seen destroying several countries let alone states. Example: Venezuelas oil led welfarism that created poverty on a state level with fluctuation of oil prices. The society did not pick up the tab and create value as their basic needs were fulfilled. Indian example: the three lost decades between 1980-2010 for Tamil Nadu as they engaged in welfarism wars between DMK and AIADMK, Karnataka and AP developed faster and even overtook the state. 3. Delhi spending excess on Delhiites is not a problem, till you ask the question is Delhi isolated in existence? Should States UTs like Delhi consume every paise of tax and seek more from the center? Or should they be fiscally responsible to help other states?

Meanwhile all evidence and indicators point to massive structural issues, irrespective of who's in power. But yes. Him Indians hai, naarebaazi se chala lenge.

@anshuraj4277 sir you seem to be very well read given your thorough reply. I just want to point out, 1. India- Soviet relations only got good in 55 when Kruschev was around. At the time of independance, Stalin was around and did not view India's political system let alone parties and individuals in favourable light. TLDR: India had to get close to USSR due to the events and discussions that precede Suez crisis. 2. You did not answer a very simple question, why did the British choose to not place their Stooges in power when our event of independance was a planned transer of power and not a coup?

@sadabmosaddek7091 remember these words in Oct-Dec 2023.

Because medical community suggests vaccinating the at risk population first?

@AnkitSharma-ch5yg as a Kannadiga I can tell you that DMK and Dravidian politics can't even enter let alone influence Karnataka or even Kerala. This is because it's a unique trauma of de-Sanskritising their language. They replaced their classical culture with folk culture which is fantastic in the short run(think modern movies, songs and Tamilian/Dravidian identity) but lost their repertoire of classic Tamil literature. The ideological jokers like to name drop Thiruvalluvar and Sangam literature at every single point but can't speak a single line of old Tamil. In fact they are blind to the idea of the evolution of language and think any changes are due to "Brahminical invasion". Next time you encounter a Tamil separatist ask them to speak 5 lines in old Tamil and watch them. 🤣
6
The constitution itself does not allow for this. Ambedkar foresaw this and went as far as to provide Article 3 in the constitution.

7. The crux of this conversation, the title of this video is misleading. BH, OR, CH, RJ, JK and most of NE is dependent on the center to run its state functions. They are not at a point of self sufficiency. 8. India is attempting to cut down costs on its production line to offer globally competitive price points, this would mean competition between states as the factories move closer to the areas generating raw materials. Don't be surprised if Bengaluru loses its IT sector to Hyderabad or PB loses agriculture to UP or OR becomes the new cement capital at the cost of Chennai. 9. This is causing heartburn to people in pre established centers, PB/HR does not want farm laws, TN is resentful about other states taking its mantle for education to industrial job exclusivity and wants a bigger share to reward its own electorate and Delhi is opposed to laws around free electricity. In a myopic sense, why would a state want to fund its competitors?
6
@mohantysobhi how exactly? The whole debate around guns is an direct outcome of English bill of rights of 1689. It turned into the second amendment of us constitution. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Amendment_to_the_United_States_Constitution The pre fucking eminent superpower of the world for half a century with more than 250 years of freedom cannot solve its colonial hangover. You want someone to forget how they lost their grandparents and how the state discriminated against them. 😂
