@sarral2008 yeah, that's what cheats do. They don't play fairly when they see an opportunity to exploit a situation and get away with it. So he's personally chosen to cheat AND put women at risk of serious injury

Yes

This is the left wing I identify with. Reasonable, rational, logical - aiming to create a safe, stable & healthy society.
3
look at schools & universities Mike - children and students are identifying as trans in large numbers. People care when their daughter returns from university on testosterone and planning a double mastectomy
3
Abigail Shrier's book, Irreversible Damage, focuses on this
3
@someonesomeone25 yeah right. Would you get violently spit roasted on film by two men with monster cocks, for money?
3
Women never got the same deal; they got extra work. Look at the difference between men & women's leisure time & the amount of unpaid labour women do
3
YES - we need to look at antisemitism in muslim populations. In fact, it probably is time for a few episodes exploring antisemitism
3
@laurenjones2909 women have been making films about this (check out Terf Wars, Dysphoric) but they haven't received the attention and viewing success as Matt's
3
@laurenjones2909 I think he comes with a bigger established audience and he's come in at a more fertile time when more people are listening. Also that he is coming from the right where its not such a taboo subject. And of course the age old issue that women get ignored, cancelled, silenced & then people shout 'where are the feminists' but don't look for us or give credit for our uphill struggle
3
@sulaak are you advocating for immigrants nowadays to do the same? Or are you interested in what actually works?
3
@songsthatarecatchy many trans identified men and detransitioners openly say that porn was a factor for them

I had covid last week, it was really mild. My son caught it off me, he had a mild headache on one day & no other symptoms. I know loads of people who have had covid & none have died. One had long covid symptoms. However I also know a few people who have had negative & ongoing side effects from the vaccine - to protect them from a mild virus that would likely have not left them with any ongoing effects.

We could clear surgery & cancer treatment waiting lists

I work in a university & live in one of the most left wing (new school not old school) cities in the UK, & unfortunately I see a majority woke culture
3
A couple of important ideas here (prioritising close relationships over politics, the importance of a society being child centred) but otherwise much of this was like my teenage acid fueled conversations in the 90s, naive idealistic and overly simplistic. Yes, on one level things are perfectly simple but come back down to the human ground level & things are incredibly complicated - not all humans are well intentioned, cultural differences can be huge, geopolitics are dark beyond belief - & that's where we live
3
@spikey_labrys how can they be relevant? Feelings are subjective. Policies & legislation need to be logical & objective
3
Yes, children have been removed over this as well as foster carers and potential adoptive parents being prevented from caring for children
3
It's also not even good for depression to not work. Unless in unusually extreme cases, which are temporary, you can work through depression & it generally helps more than not
3
Yesssss!

Next clue?
3
She wasn't saying the Internet is why people have fewer children. She was saying people are having fewer children AND we have the Internet so in combination many people are less confronted by their physical reality
3
He's a very attractive, likeable dude. He plays it down but its brave to talk about class
3
Very important point about the lines being blurred between journalism & activism
3
Alcohol is an object & a product, a prostitute is a person.
3
@glennmitchell9107 sex isn't an essential product. Where sex buying is decriminalised and destigmatised, the numbers of sex buyers increase and more women & children are trafficked.
3
No. Its where people don't 'identify' as either a man or a woman
3
@user-bn4cx5zw6w most single mothers I know have only left their kids' dad because he was cruel, & . I left mine because of those reasons. And he never gave me any money and created a huge scary drama if I asked for any. I've worked & brought up kids & definitely haven't benefited financially from that.
3
He's missing out the times of huge Islamic progression eg the 'Islamic golden age' when Europe was in the 'dark ages'. I say this just for the sake of balance & historical accuracy. We also need to factor in the long history *to present day of slavery in Islamic culture.
3
Can you say more about how the notion should be more controversial? I also am a social worker and have worked a lot with PDs. I am torn about how much its just labels for fuked up people and how much people do fit into the personalities types
3
@chopper84a what position do you personally take on it, do you think PDs have diagnostic value? PDs seem to be more accepted diagnostically than they used to be & more widely diagnosed than ever. In my work I am seeing EUPD & PTSD very commonly dual diagnosed but I wonder how much all PDs are 'just' trauma responses anyway

@eggy_bread8579 this comments thread will show you you're in a tiny minority. The majority of comments are men thirsting after her. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder so good luck to you
3
'Those who make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities' Voltaire
3
You want to ban it from the public square? What about free speech?
3
It's the (radical, second wave) feminists putting up the fight over this. We are holding back the wave. You want to help or just attack us?
3
And how it operates
3
Agree

@chris lots of land isn't suitable for agriculture & is most effectively used for grazing. Plus it is often underestimated how packed with nutrition meat & dairy is & the sheer scale of what agriculture would be required to provide the same nutrition through grain/fruit/vegetables. Battery, monoculture farming is horrible for the environment and animal welfare but mixed model (circular) farming is truly sustainable. Horses, goats & pigs eat what humans cannot digest, chickens eat leftovers, all manure is returned to the land as natural fertiliser.
3
@XZaRxJILaX i can vouch for my kids being taught CRT ideas in school without any critique
3
@ashlibabbittcroakedit9108 sigh. Of course I know what it is. If it were being taught as a theory in an academic sense, with differing views presented alongside, so children could think critically & make up their minds, I would not only not object, I would support. But that's not what happening. What's happening is the tenets of the theory are being taught uncritically as established fact.
3
Mother Teresa isn't the polar opposite of Hitler, there's a fair amount of reason to think she was nearer him on the good/evil spectrum
3
@colin canton this has got nothing to do with Marxism This is a neoliberal agenda pushing conservative & oppressive gender stereotypes, promoting individuality over collectivism, no class analysis, advocating for huge profit making by pharmaceutical companies & plastic surgeons. This is the opposite of Marxism
3
I agree that there are obviously more male psychopaths but not that the reason for that is obvious. What do you think the reason is?
2
@justingrove5190 yes that makes sense. Thank you
2
In most of the world, they do. The UK is one of the few that have a process behind it & hasn't legalised self ID. But Labour will bring it in as soon as they get back into power & then we'll be doomed
2
She was supporting men only spaces.
2
I'd call it a cape
2
I'm beginning to suspect that he is actually Paris Hilton in disguise
2
The wealth of their cronies
2
YES. The comparison to Tate is on point. Yet Dylan is celebrated for his vile misogyny
