  5.  @rickcleveland310  the difference is that polio is fatal & causes life long disability whereas covid has over 99% recovery rate for people without co-morbidities. People make their own risk analysis. If there were high risks from covid they would likely feel that it would be worth the risk of taking a new vaccine where long term effects were unknown. But there aren't.

  8. No drug should be taken before work. Why ban both? Because drugs including alcohol are used responsibly by many people and they bring pleasure and relaxation. Prohibition makes criminals out of otherwise law-abiding people and divert police and courts away from crimes that actually harm society.

  11. Providing sex work does harm the body. The body isn't designed to be f***ed throughout the day every work day. Prolapses, bruising, tearing, STIs, ulcers, cancers are all risks. Life expectancy is significantly shorter. And there is immense psychological harm - PTSD is more common among prostituted women than among veterans

  13.  @hooligan9794  yeah, I do. The military is a prime example of working class men & boys being treated as disposable. Upper class boys have different training & enter as officers. I think we will always need a military but we need to examine carefully the exploitation within it.

  14.  @hooligan9794  the difference is that the military is necessary as a deterrent to avoid war and for if there are conflicts. We need to avoid any unnecessary conflict and support people in the military properly including their transition out. Prostitution is not necessary.

And the UK police are completely overstepping the mark & acting outside the law in some cases. Interesting case in tribunal right now - google Harry the Owl

Women as a class have completely different patterns of offending behaviour to men & sexual violence by women is extremely rare. Women have a chance of defending themselves against another women - due to the physical differences between men & women in terms of strength, speed, weight & grip, in 1:1 combat between a man & a woman, it's almost certain that the man will be able to overcome the woman. A woman cannot make another woman pregnant.
