We don't seem to have any collective understanding of what right/left, hard right/hard left, far right/far left are. If we do drift to the hard or far right, whatever that is, it is because we are being driven there by what the left has become, and I say that as someone who has grown up & lives in the left, has always voted left but is now politically homeless

  21. I work in higher education & EDI departments are just absolute parasites- they act as witch finders. As Ilyas said, demand for racism (& all the isms & phobias) outstrips supply & so their job is to seek it out which creates an environment of scrutiny & fear. Universities are infested by anti intellectual woke values where it is 'problematic' to think critically & 'kindness' ie lying, colluding, deluding, grooming, comes before all else.

  26. There is definitely an ideological push to give the diagnosis to more women. I work in the field & have heard people say 'of course women have it as much as men but there is sexism in diagnosis' - there is no 'of course'- there are many many sex differences in physical and mental health. People are so blinded by politics that they have become blind to science

  29. How can they not know? I think it's always better to be aware of the power one holds so it can be used responsibly and not abused. Beauty is a big power and even more so in men where it is more unusual and doesn't carry some of the negative stereotypes that it does for women

I don't think Kamala has any values of her own, she seeks power and she'll believe whatever brings her to power. Right now the kingmakers want huge population shifts and the breakdown of traditional norms.
