  4. I completely understand youlr stance & used to wholly agree. The argument is that it will lead to explicit and implicit coercion so its not as simple as this and I have come to believe that the wider consequences of this would be extremely negative. I am not anti suicide & have my own loose plans for what I'd do in certain circumstances but I don't think that power should be given to the state. I'm sorry about how your partner's death was. It sounds like poor palliative care

  18. @Margaret Pepper  if I was him, I'd say that everyone has a right to hold their own beliefs, gender identity is a belief system & believers in it should be protected from discrimination but beliefs & ideologies have no place in law & policy & so its time to repeal the GRA and in no situation should gender supercede sex
