As Christians we should be supporting whoever needs protection from genocide. Their ‚religion’ matters not.

Yes, their turn of phase is as if they are accusing Ukraine for the audacity of even asking for help. That These fighters that have for the past year been face to face, day after day in the war zone may have a diffiert view of certain situations than some USA learners generals miles away, hiw dare they! Many analysts have noted that warfare with drones has moved on, western military is learning alternatives from thise n Ukraine all the time. As for disagreements within the Ukrainian leadership, Churchill was for ever at odds with the military minds, with allies leaders, with everyone at some time or other throughout the whole of WW2. Even more so than us puplic were ever nade aware of.

Quality reporting today. Good reporting from Georgia and a great interview Dom.
15
Get a feeling the price for those Iranian drones was military assistance or/and hacking the Israeli defence dome, cyber attack or such.
13
„0ut of strength and WISDOM“. Spontaneous laugh out loud from me!

A cynic could say, they sell more weapons this way. Come up with the good stuff too fast, then less chance of getting rid of the unwanted near obsolete first. Saving on storage costs etc. But chances are they mostly feared Russia then Putin’s new friends in China, North Korea and India would get their hands on the more modern technology in ambush.

@richardmarsden5610 The statement Putin announced “I have no plans to take Karkiv”. Is to be read in the same mode as back in .February 2022: “no plans to invade Ukraine.” Kremlin has long ago announced they want the whole of Ukraine. Putin only wanted to appease Xi with that announcement.
8
No. Real harm done. Russian expert said we assume Russia considers Germany will not make the same error again and have released the tape to cause upsets within the allies. Russia has spies in Ukraine too. If they valued this way of listening they would have kept quiet about it hoping to gain further and more important information in future.
8
@frank834skinner3 except no one is attacking Russia. Ukraine is defending itself by countering their war machine.
8
@djfrankwhyt5860 with hands tied , they did know but were prevented . That has changed since then. More drones, jamming etc.

From the funeral prayer: “Good will not be defeated”
7
Russia would have turned the gas back on!
6
The UK unfortunately closed its ammo factories and moved production to Hungry years ago. Bad choice it seems considering Hungry‘s present stance to aiding Ukraine.
6
Rubbish.
6
Probably can estimate factory output and they know what weapons were loaded onto transport from N.K. They may have a track on cash transaction with Iran? There are many ways Military experts can estimate such things. Never underestimate the enemy seems a prudent rule to me.
6
In the USA WW2 they raised money with „war bonds“
6
Difference is we have checks in place. In places like Russia everyone knows the voting is just a charade.
6
Same could have, and was said of the situation of the allies many times during WW1 and WW2. But some things are morally worth persevering for.
5
Don‘t forget apart from the critic Trump got for not visiting the USA burial grounds, he did appear impressed by the parade in Paris and asked for the same to take place in Washington.
5
They picked up a radio message saying lost contact. I should think equally or even more so of a loss for Russia will downing of the the specialist crew into the sea. Is it likely there are more or fewer suitabley trained pilots than planes?
5
Stay in Russia then
5
@RyanBrown the Russians were in Afghanistan before then. How did they get on?
5
A huge amount of Ukrainians are not in the country right now and there are sways of the Country under occupation. A fair election would be nahe impossible. Unnecessary extra admin apart from the danger of election centres being bombed. If Puin can bomb cafes he would most certainly bomb them too. The U.K. had a special combined government during WW2. In wartime the people need to pull together. We had many displaced persons at that time too. Entirely different for Putin. He wants to display his „popularity“. The results are preprescribed anyway. Plus he recently changed the rules alowing himself extra terms in office (previously restricted). So he must make good on that power grab move to fein legitimacy to his „poplar“ presidency.
5
Not Russian built.

Trump and Carlson have visited Orban in Hungry earlier on in this war. Trump has praised Orban enthusiastically too. But neither interested in visiting war torn Ukraine. I believe Trump would love to visit Putin, but is more worried about that image to actually go. Huge wonder what the Russian diplomatic Plane parked alongside Trump‘s private plane recently was all about.
5
@goldenoriolesilverbirch8220 she would not be in charge of what Russia does. Only that Russia are atm. having a lot of problems with their ethnic provinces in the Eastern regions. Possibly because the Russian army no longer has a grip there having being relocated to the war in Ukraine, or replacing their troops in Africa. They could also have gripe that so many of their youth and older menfolks have been recruited into this war and are coming back deceased, or just missing. And also China is quietly making moves into the Eastern parts, while Putin’s focus is on Ukraine. Moldova, Poland etc. it is normal to keep an eye on what is happening in neighbouring countries. And believe it or not most of Europe is worried for Russia. We do not want even more fighting and it is better if Russians too could live in peace with their neighbours. Does not change the fact that Putin needs to get OUT of Ukraine. Russian resources could then be returned to general maintenance, upkeep and prosperity for ts own country and people. How they deal with the increasingly fractured country will be up to them. Putin seems reliant on perpetual war footing to stay relevant and keep strong hand on power. Putin is Russia’s worst enemy, not the rest of Europe.
5
Trump has no problem with lies. He tells one after the other. A bit of a hobby of his. Crowd sizes, personalities praising him. Highest ever this, lowest ever that. „stable Genius“. On and on.
5
And longer term profits to the armament industry. Imagine it had all been over by now?
5
Apetape375 Masses of graves were dug for the discovered bodies in places like Bucha. Russians slaughtered civilians.
5
Quite a lot of rambling though. I found it very hard to follow to be honest.
5
Different reports so either Three or four were in in the terrorists car.. However six have been captured and beaten up so far. Someone suggested one or more had been Moscow taxi drivers. To me it seems they are trying to divert from why it took an hour and a half for security to walk from one end of the street to the other. Doors locked. No on hand concert security etc. By quickly arresting whoever as soon as possible. If they beat them enough they will confess to anything and they willlook strong and efficient. Strong, brutal, efficient being adjectives that most please boss Putin.
5
That was scuppered by what was discovered in .Bucha when they returned from The meeting with the Russians in .Ankara. Plus knowing that Putin had backed iut if every deal he made in the past.
5
Yes, ignorance. Hope he knows more about US diversity.
5
There is a lot of interference with the comments on this thread. I have had three totally harmless comments rubbed out, even the replacements have gone. Only a devotee to Russian aggression and Putin enthusiast could have objected to my posts. I wonder how many other loyal Ukrsine the Latest fans are being deleted.
5
The Azov is the name of an area by the sea of Azov. The troops from that area carry the same name andcwere the most brave after the Russian invaded. They defended the ironworks and withstood relentless Russian tank attacks almost to the last man untill final surrender of the steelworks. with onky the very basic of weapons, home made Molotov Cocktails etc.
5
@johngawrylash7732 yes all that, but also for the interpreter. Most likely his words were checked over to make sure he said what Putin approved of.
5
The have. They have been warned by India and China not to use them. If fully maintained is another matter, but 60 or 70% of them should be still viable.
4
@smith7658. Please explain? Is this not a U.K. newspaper?
4
How much were we in debt to the USA and Canada after ww2? Not fully repaid, including interest, until around 2006 I believe. Extended several times due to special relations. Ukraine is doing its best with a much smaller manpower. They are ingenious in many work arounds and deservedly the help they can get.
4
Humbug..
4
As long as the Russians vacate Ukraine, hopefully faster than they vacated Afghanistan.
4
That is what. Is implied! Pretty cold this time of year, so must be a vital move!
4
The grain used to be shipped out to Africa, Asia etc by ship via the Black Sea. Because of the war this transport by train has been a work around. Previous reports have said the reason it gets stuck in Europe is because the onwards transportation for bulky grain works out as too expensive. Yes, Russia has been stealing Ukrainian grain from the eastern regions. They can more easily shift it over land Eastwards.
4
@Chat-Mayevskogo then join up and do your bit to help fix it. I am sure your expert help would be well received. I heard he is doing quite well at routing out internal corruption. But bow to your better knowledge.
4
„That’s why I kept this going so long“ Because it was a stitch up. Trump wanted this. He had been friendly with Two leaders that visited that week. So decided to pounce on Zelenskyy and weirdly make himself appear the big heavy punch guy against those of Eurooe. Was it instigated to „impress“ his fan club? Or Putin?
4
Hi again, copy paste man.
4
A birthday gift from Iran/Hamas? Sobering thought: Putin is younger than me! I had no idea, he looks so much the shifty eyed evil godfather and old.
4
@RyanBrown probably a Brit type joke, but at face value just stinks like an UNNECESSARY insult to those not, like me, from the UK!
4
They were flagging. Natural I suppose as rationing was hard to bear. In 1943 a British AA battery was sent on a tour of the USA, presumably to bring home what living under bombardment was like. They visited and held demonstrations of air defence accross the USA military institutions ie West Point, Wilmington, Boston, Laramie. Including attending the Boston Bond Parade and Hollywood Bowl. They were entertained and made welcome.
4
Is it true that our (U.K.) amo production was moved to Hungry years ago? So does that mean, with Orban mates with Trump, Carlson and Putin. (Has had meetingsvwith all three). That they are not fulfilling the deal?. At the same times as milking the EU for subsidies? Or have I got that wrong?
