Re: the intro. Who owns the voice after Trump saying „fascinating“ ? And can someone translate the French for me please.
1
Trump Never had a deal with Mexico. He was (and still is) nothing but a wind bag. Makes a lot of campaign noise to mock his followers and win votes only. No sense there. Why should Mexico build a wall other than one of their own - a fence with wire tops. . Trump want anything else, then he needs to come up with the money and on US soil. The wildlife and ecosystem would suffer with a solid wall.
1
It just shows the Republicans do not care that much about the boarder as they make out, by rejecting the part of the ‘deal’ they themselves insisted on, They want it delayed so Trump can come in as hero of the day. Another feather to his campaign hat. Do they think the electorate are stupid? They can wait an extra year before their presious border deal comes to be? And that is if Trump wins rather than looses them votes. What a switch, Do the Republicans realy want to be the ones keeping the borders open? Seems like the USA, their policies, all go out the window when it comes to Trump. Even now as he reaches out to those he hopes in Putin’s corner. Angry Zelenskyy could not provide the dirt he wanted on Biden, his attention ha swung to Hungry.
1
Putin can always claim (as with everything else) it is Ukraines fault. He can claim those boarders where he deployed his conscripts to were not part of the front line before Ukraine invaded. The fact that they had not had enough training for anything like that he will bury in his twisted discombobulated speeches.
1
Trump has already dismissed the „special relationship“- Said last time around he already chose to phone Saudi Arabia first because they had put in a huge valuable order (planes etc) Under Trump the USA morals are for sale.
1
Western journalism is „crazy“. Well he should know. Just wait until he finds out how much his own efforts into craziness fall behind what is expected of Russian grade crazy journalism. .

Good things come in small packages.
1
Accounting for National average life expectancy. Putins 71 would be 77 in the USA and 81 in the UK.
1
@Bird_McBride wrong.
1
@snowsnow4231 huge, yet impotent.
1
@andrewharrison1194 I also believe our mental health can be the root to most illnesses. Malnutrition etc, anything that impairs our bodies ability to fight illness and recover. Even in the case of genetic illnesses. It is not inevitable we succumb. Only it takes a lot more mental and bodily health not to to than ones with healthy genes resisting flu.
1
There has been precedence for this, which is how the Kherson city leader can be so certain of this consequence. When Putin took his troops to Chechnya to “settle” some fabricated riff. They flattered the capital, thousands dead, yet managed by force and bribery to get the son of the leading family on side. Chechens even have their own regiment on par with the Wagner Warriors fighting within the Russian military. Although, like Wagner somewhat chaotic and unpredictable. But they are pretty brutal and no followers of ‘rules of war’.
1
As if Russia would just handover part of his hard earned gain on a plate to Rumania and Hungry should he succeed in this invasion. . Russia has already mention they want Moldova themselves. And they will eventually go once more for Kyiv. Unless of course these dissidents of Rumania and Hungry have already held meetings with Putin and offer support in other ways. If not they will indefinitely be deminions to Putin, as with Belarus - so Putin gets back the Soviet power he yearns for.

Most are used to it.
1
Huge country bridging Europe and Asia. Putin wants the attension. How can what happens there not effect us? No one is invading Russia, but Putin sends his assassins to murder people in our country. Putin threatened to blow our „insignificant tiny island“ out of the ocean and has sent his subs and ships to take an unhealthy interest in our oil-rigs and under ocean communication cables.
1
Please, Who speaks after Trump in this intro? Says „fascinating“
1
@brombo00 Too late. Putin‘s ruthless disrespect in not upholding boarders has persuaded Sweden and Finland to join NATO. And ONLY by joining NATO will Ukraine from now on feel safe. This is all Putin‘s doing. Russia was safe before this invasion. Putin knows this. Instead of giving freedom to his own people, he has tightened his ultimate control over them and this attack on a neigbouring country was supposed to deflect them from his mistreatment of his own people.
1
Ukraine was the buffer zone before. Russia does not keep to any such agreements, they are just a ploy. They shared a border with NATO founding member Norway since day one of the alliance. Did not bother them. They will be back for more. They have almost taken over Georgia by the back door (political interference) are trying the same creating unrest for future invasion of Moldova and elsewhere, like they did since 2014 in Ukraine. Putin wants control over all the ex-Soviet countries and wants to turn Asia, Africa and South America against Democratic Western Countries. This is to be his legacy of Glory. Most certainly not doing it for the Russian people. He is butchering them. This is for himself!

Lol

@izzythompson9982 utter crap! After voting for independence following the dissolving of the soviet Union Ukraine relquished their Soviet nuclear weapons to Russia. Previous presidents on promises of peace and protection transferred tanks, planes and other military equioement to Russia as Putin demanded they reduce their military presence. Feb 22nd 2022 Putin denied he would invade. Feb 24th he invaded on a host of lies. Then in March 2022 Zelenskyy replied: OK, we will not join NATO, we will give the eastern areas the vote on if they want independence. But Putin ignored him. He did not react because? Two main reasons. 1) he (at the time) refused to acknowledge Zelenskyy. The Ukrainian President of Putin’s choice had been unable to follow his troops into Kyiv because the cue ploy was unsuccessful. Instead Zelenskyy had stayed to protect his country and people from being stollen. 2) the reasons Putin gave for the invasion were fake. He wanted to take the land and then on to Moldova. His true intentions have since been revealed. The rebuilding of the Soviet influence under his control. His so called “plan” has twisted and turned each time new evidence has become exposed. None of Putin’s original claims hold true
1
Happens with me too. The more I try to remember someone‘s name, by repeating it in my head - come to the crunch and it is gone! Does not make a good impression at job interviews!
1
Which country is the poorest? Mali? Somalia? Why are they fighting NATO.?
1
So Orban has inside Kremlin knowledge? Putin‘s next Lukashenko. Did Putin promise Hungry a slither of Ukrainian land?
1
@Horseracingtip there are press of all persuasion in Europe. Free press in Russia had to leave the country. And even accross the boarders they are being persecuted by Putin’s mob.
1
Do we have Russian infiltrators here? My post keep being deleted when I confront obvious Russian false-speak.
1
When still part of NHFTA and the Paris Climate Agreement etc?
1
They can name it whatever they like in their own language. We call Lake Constance what Germany calls Bodensee. What we call on maps the English channel is called La Manche by the French. This Russian re-naming thing is just some stupid copy cat thing to show how stupid Trump‘s ego mind workings are. The Bay of Mexico is a geographical name which can be renamed on US maps if they want. . We still call a car bonnet and boot what US Americans call a hood and trunk. I suspect Trump’s praise for Putin‘s act of simply re-naming ‚Russian’ those four Ukraine Oblasts back in Sept.22 must have sparked his desire to re-name something. Even though to date they remain in Ukraine as 270,000 in Kerson City alone can testify.
1
So Dom was correct, just over 60miles. Approx 62 and a half miles.

@gmw3083 I did, I am also aware of the accusations and cleared by investigations involving the manufactures and suppliers of the machines in Italy and Germany. About the imposed counting cut off Point in some states delaying by law the counting of the postal votes until after closing of the in person voting stations. Which Trump trued to say were votes hidden under a bench. Then when he tried to shut the doors in some places leaving voters outside in the queues not yet placing votes. But the main thing was his appointing a director of an opposing postal delivery service to head the Postal service, who then dismantled the speedy sorting machines. This apart from on the day asking a Gouverneur „we need 9,000 more votes, please…. „ There was more attempts at voting fraud by your Hero Trump than anywhere else. Puts third world dictators to shame!
1
@sebastianforbes1 yes because it would mean he has finally understood what is actually happening. But he will not. Trump has become messerised by Putin. He wants to have unchecked power like Putin and so assisting with (program 2025) breaking down democratic rights in the USA. Farage too did. Putin and Trump‘s bidding in wanting a weakened Eu.
1
I am not sure Putin knows the correct number killed. Even if it IS relayed to the Kremlin. They fear for their jobs.
1
Another source says they are investigating Hiw they can adjust to effectively interrupt the electronics in flight.
1
@peterthompson6651. He wore suits prior to the war, He would be Russia’s top prestige target. More of a liability to the soldiers in his group than any help, their main job would be protecting the president rather than sticking to the task in hand.
1
They contain most of Ukraines minerals. Mines, oil and gas along with Crimea. The real reason why Putin wants them.
1
8 @F4R4D4Y no he does not. Martial Law. Even Ukraines opposition leader says an election during a war is not sensible. Putin is only looking for excuses to halt Trump‘s process. Putin knows his in part occupation and his continuous dropping bombs is making elections impossible and cannot take place. He knows Trump will believe his twist on facts to put the blame on Zelenskyy re no elections.
1
They were aware of that. Shitbags, just to make some petty point. They want to seem “big” and show they can “make noise”. Very manly - not!
1
Omg. I really do not want to hear HIS lament day in day out. Please spare us that!
1
Did I hear that Sweden said they would send troops? Or did I imagine that?
1
Get more mine eradicators in there would probably be a good first move.
1
What is the new each?
1
@joshuapaul2022 Putin is the Hitler in this scenario. His army did the invading. This always was an arrogant attempt at land grab according to documentation found in Dugin’s 1997 Foundations of Geopolitics. Putin’s private army, the murderous horrendous actions of the Wagner Mercenaries, followed by the abduction and attempt at obliterating of the Ukrainian folk and culture shows which country harbours the most NeoNazi ideology.
1
@craigshagin5506 This is likely true, but by then it will be too late. There seems to be a weird understanding of ‘emergency’ aid. Putting it off until Trump can bask in glory is playing into Putin’s hands and costing thousands of lives. Trust in the USA will sink worldwide. Putin’s connections re-enforced with even more African countries; a growth of confidence in communist leaning South American countries and the rise of fascist influence in Asia even in Europe will become bolder. If Trump was not intentionally Putin’s tool, then he has in fact become one.
1
In that Bild interview Orban was asked if Orban had told Zelenskyy that Hevesy going to see Putin next when was in Ukraine. Orban Said no. After More questions he said he did not have mandate. Said he was gathering information for himself, because he believed the killing would only end with.a peace plan. Was asked if he had recently spoken to Trump. Orban replied that Trump’s son had visited him three weeks ago. He said he had not told anyone about his visits. The interview was held after visiting Putin, so when he was asked if anything was gained, he said there was more. A bigurprise in the next few days. So i am assuming he was hinting at his (since) visit to China. So from that wevlearnt he had a visitbfrom Trump‘s son, he interviewed the German head of military on thevsituaiin. Got samevinformatuin from Zelenskyy without telling either that he would then be reporting to Putin followed by Xi in Chins.
1
Tell Putin to take his men back home to Russia and that would stop the fighting. Simple. No one, East or West had any intension to invade Russia. This is all purely Putin’s egocentric ambitions.
1
@sebastianforbes1, Zelenskyy is first of all NOT a dictator. Secondly he is not depriving “his” people of anything. The Russians are, by attempting to destroy all of Ukraine’s infrastructure. North Korea are not actively at war. There is no excuse for Kim Un’s enslavery of his own people.
1
Maybe in the USA and other places where Putin is not on their doorstep. Too many countries here have had first hand experience of run ins with how he operates. He is trying to put the freed Russia back into the box of oppression. And does not want those surrounding Russia to prosper in independence . It undermines his rule. Only 20 miles from here a Putin ordered assassination was botched and killed a local woman and left two other seriously ill from Novichok poisoning. The smirk on his face when he explained those two we had identified as the assassins were infact „tourists visiting our beautiful cathedral“.
1
This was a special edition. The usual ‚Ukraine the latest‘ runs Monday to Friday. They sometimes broadcast these pre-recorded one-off interviews in the interim. I get to hear the broadcasts one day later. So will be listening to the usual updated Monday broadcast tomorrow, Tuesday.
1
Also Interviews with front line soldiers are not usually a good oversight of a battle. Because it endangers lives they cannot give away too much info of their positions or ammo situation. Posters from WW2 announced „Careless Talk Costs Lives‘ as Martha also said she will not give away too much information about her father. Likely he does not reveal much. But also the view from a trench is limited. What happens when, where reveals itself later and announcements should only happen after the troops involved are debriefed and out of danger.
1
@Hovercraftltd That would not explain the footage of a plane falling from the sky. They could now in theory be enjoying life in South America somewhere. Whether it realy was Prigozhin and a top commander of Wagner on that plane or not an innocent pilot and co-pilot were murdered in the process (no parachutes were seen). And it seems Russia is now short of pilots, so an own goal in that sense too.
1
The most stupid thing was hiw Elon Musk‘s responded on X. Belittling the reporter that showed the footage and quoted the Chechen Generals boast. He has Trumps diplomacy skills of insulting the easy target scape goat instead of handling the facts, Why was he so scared of simply saying Kadyrov made that stuff up. Instead of going for the messenger?
