  4. He was saying that you lose your soul through the deceit that is federal debt monetization. It is an end-run around the constitution. The federal government is not constitutionally allowed to print currency. Y'all clearly have no idea what you're talking about when it comes to monetary policy. The only reason that the hyperbolic expansion of the money supply has not yet led to runaway inflation is that the dollar is used as a global reserve currency -- over half of all global trade is conducted in dollars. European countries trade with South American countries in USD. As a consequence of the economic quagmire of the debt burden and the lockdowns, monetary velocity has substantially decreased -- we have been exporting our inflation to the rest of the world through trade deficits, hollowing out our economy in the process. What we know from history is that every global reserve currency eventually falls out of favor, and with the dedollarization trend picking up steam, that time will soon come for the dollar, and all those tens of trillions we have printed will return to America to chase the few goods and services that remain. We are also very close to global systemic banking collapse due to the shipping container shortage and other supply chain disruptions. Throwing caution to the wind is a terrible idea. Rand Paul is not against charity or the less than $200 billion that was appropriated for stimulus checks. He is against reckless fiscal and monetary policy represented by the $2.1 trillion in non-stimulus bloat. The stimulus is just a red herring to distract the public from the systemic problems of federal government disfunction.
