They exemplify the Hindu right who have a long history (going back centuries in India) of aligning themselves with whomever is in power. Survivalists. Add to that their close ties with both Israel and India’s RSS, both of whom are fascistic, anti-Islamic regimes. It therefore seems likely (particularly with Braverman’s rhetoric), that they are leveraging the abundant Islamophobia in the ether for their own political gain. Similarly, their unconditional support for Israel (even without mandate in the case of Patel), is the other dimension of the above point - pandering for personal gain.
