It wouldn't have succeeded under Corbyn and he lost by a landslide in 2019 with the worst result since 1935. I mean, you had to be there though, I went to a few local London Labour meetings around the time and came away several times thinking that the whole party was an utter mess.

  31. You can have either a Cash ISA or a Stocks and shares ISA with a limit of £20K here. You can spread the £20K between multiple ISA accounts though so say £8K in cash and £12K in shares. Cash ISA's are safe but you can get a lot better return on Stocks and Shares, even with something relatively safe like an ETF fund.

  48. How exactly would Trump replicate that in the US? I mean, Putin didn't create the Oligarchy, Yeltsin did with a Voucher privitisation system of sold off state-owned companies that failed badly when a few businessmen bought ( or took ) said vouchers en masses from the hungry. Albeit in a completely different historical context of a starving post socialist state. Putin just cracked down ( read: killed or imprisoned ) the oligarchs who opposed him.
