There are a great many differences in much the same way as there great differences between different types of Dog, Cow, deer etc. They are the same species but significantly different.
14
If one fifth of them cause this much disruption and chaos. Imagine them as a quarter, or half or a majority.
14
@LadyBlanche.888 I'm also working in the NHS, its infected with the detritus of the 3rd world.
14
This shows that they are pointless anyway, the gang will do what they want to do in other ways.
14
Send em back. If they want our lifestyle and our values they'll fight for it and coalesce around leaders fighting for such, OH HOLD ON they had that chance and as soon as the US and UK left the welcomed back the Tali's with open arms...then filed out the door to come here as "refugees". Piss on that, I spent 3 tours in Afghanistan dont need them here having seen what they are unwilling to do to improve their own place.
14
Simon you've shown several times, quite rightly, that this fella isnt much of a historian, he is an activist. His general outlook and commentary fits nicely with modern society and its guilt complex.
14
@garrywynne1218 you Sir, are very welcome, it was my pleasure to serve and retire honourably. Sadly I still have to work pensions being what they are 🤣, and fell into the NHS where its equally as barmy about this stuff.
14
In an equal world, the best person for the any particular job gets the role. They must work hard and be dedicated to get to the highest position they are able to achieve. There is no law in the land that prevents anyone from doing this. Except those that have allowed BAME folk to get jobs that whites cannot apply for. Go.figure.that.
14
I suppose hes showing how the media are imbalanced about their reporting. Most everyone has heard of Selassie I guess yet received little to no coverage because of the "complexities" of the mob that did the thing.
14
I suppose the point additional to this is the Dog didn't do it for himself. 😂
14
Your book about the "Equalitarian dogma" was excellent Simon. Total common bloody sense mate
14
I am astounded they chose to show this episode.
14
What goes in here in midlands...you get someone set up in a house on a street with a mortgage, then move in 20 more and all pay off that mortgage as quickly as possible, now move onto the next one in a ponzi scheme style pyramid of fortune.
14
The problem seems to be one of decency or rather someones idea of what's decent. All of these corpos, educational institutions, government bodies etc have decided that we must be decent and highlight these people in the things they do. Problem is they are ALL at it in their own small (and not so small) ways and it has overwhelmed and over saturated the decency market to a grotesque degree.
14
Gollum they might if we taught them that idea. But we dont. We teach them to look at both sides and make up their own minds.
14
Yes, this was my feeling about this also. If you go looking for trouble you'll usually find it in ample supply.
14
Heres what the Express says some way down the article: "The cancellation came despite the fact the show was the only diverse drama in the top 50 most-watched shows when it premiered in October 2023" This is patently a misdirection by the writers. From my viewing of anything on TV "diversity" features highly, prominently, flawlessly, virtuosly, inaccurately in many cases, and over represented throughout the mainstream.
14
Good man Simon!! 😊 now the "plaque" needs to be taken for accuracy.
13
@guinnessharvey4476 and where have you met them? The high street in South London? I'd imagine you didn't try meeting any in the refugee camps in South Sudan as an example. People who had been educated and professional, slaughtered by their own folk in hundreds of thousands, watching those same people welcoming China in with open wallets.
13
The problem is all of these entities, social, government, military, etc etc all live in self contained bubbles with sub bubbles within them. When a particular bubble decides "we need to show more diversity" they all must follow, the desire to appear decent being stronger than common sense or truth apparently. When one bubble does this it's not too bad, the investigators probably think "That's great! We have done our bit and continue to do so", but they are ALL at this and it becomes absolutely grotesque in scale. Why does this happen in the west? Why wouldnt this happen in africa or russia or China anywhere else but here in the west?
13
At one time an incident like this might have made it onto the MSM. But i suppose having to report more serious events like stabbings, bombings, shootings are taking up more time, assuming they report on those even when there are far better things to report on like racism or privilege or canonisation of everything that arrives on our shore.
13
He seemed fairly congent to me Simon, I suspect his general tone and mannerism are a response to the frustration with the other side. He reminded me of Bear Grylls in his mannerisms actually. 🤣
13
We really do, and this is coming from an Irishman that knows the history of that chap.
13
@SugaryGoodnesss privileged cricketer brown man is forgiven and the whole hypocrisy swept under the couch like a dropped prawn sandwich. They have literally doubled down with the narrative from this bloke since his little slip was discovered.
13
Exactly the same here, my wife agrees with me but would rather I didn't say it. It's a typically british reaction to the deconstruction of our way of life and exactly the reason why it's happening in the first place.
13
I wish I could remember the name of the UK university, it might have been one of the oxford ones. Several years ago a benefactor put forward a large amount of money to support white under privileged students. The money was not taken. It's funny that when we hear how universities seem to take money from all other areas that they would turn down this donation.
13
Water over their heads eh? There's an idea.
13
We can see this every day with the selection of diversity in our parliament. The names are obvious and often seen. I can understand it from them, it's when it comes from "our own" that I despair for the fate of the nation.
13
If only he expressed a desire to be a woman or changed his religion to something fashionable. He would have flown in then ;)
13
@richardtemple8443 OK Mr Mater put forward a half decent rebuttal of what Murray says as I've quoted above. Genuinely interested in hearing from someone that's self admittedly not "thick as mince".
13
Such a shame they have turned into this. Nevermind at least we are reassured that our "thinking will be checked" on online spaces. Nonces.
13
Yep, it's a full on certainty how we "owe" them some-effin-how.
13
Considering the single handed nature, cheap equipment, frankly your age Simon, you are more prodigious and hard working and honest than any large corporation I could care to imagine.
13
@TheVideoLounge haha the mind boggles doesnt it. Stupid grifters.
13
He would look far better melted down for pottery or adorning a river bed if this history is anything to go by.
13
Much the same in the NHS now.
13
I do the same, my 18 year old was astounded to hear about much that Simon talks about.
13
@gumnut6922 exactly, this thing of saying that black people have been in Britain since the earliest of times is the basis for the fantasies drawn up, the vastly exaggerated claim that they were influential and had a "history" is one foundationed on very soft ground.
13
Douglas Murray would the job for my money but there are many others.
13
@AaAa-sw5os which in terms of equity is 100% and this outcome is perfectly acceptable.
13
Poor old Akala. I haven't seen him say this but nothing would surprise. In much the same way as a crowd of "educated" onlookers listening to him allowed him to continue his "stunning and brave" diatribe.
13
It's very sad indeed that the man felt this driven to do this. The government are fully complicit here for allowing this to go Too Far, Too Fast. This chaps polite acceptance ran out and he turned to the ultimate statement of his frustration. He will be derided and probably called insane for doing so by the various people. Sadly this isn't going to focus minds in a direction which leads to mass immigration halting. It's more likely to pick up pace.
13
You were never asked if you wanted this, but you've been been told for years that someone was going to stop it. And they havent done that either.
12
This does seem to be the message with all of this and much else. A sense that somehow in the old days things were so good for men. The reality has been, that for the vast vast majority they lived hard lives, lives as hard as any slave and very low life expectancy.
12
That's 2 or 3 weeks shopping for my family of 4!
12
It needs to be done. If there are no consequences for commiting the crime of breaking into the country then where does that leave us?
12
Have to say the same myself, I suspect the opposite is true for them of me having said that 😂
12
I'd rather a complete clear out of Westminster at this point. Its clear that referendums don't make a blind bit of difference to these people.
12
I'm not a woman but the "heels" thing was the first thing to pop into my mind. Maybe the photographer had seen accidents happen before relating to such so it could be described as his "lived experience" .... to use the parlance this gang likes to bandy about.
