  2. Proportional representation would lead to terrible outcomes in the UK. For instance the muslims would almost certainly form an islamic party overnight and we would see mini Sadiq Khans everywhere.

  5. That was the most TEPID questioning of Tice possible. Aside from that one chap asking a question about "hope not hate" ... which Tice cleverly didn't answer aside to effectively say that his candidates don't have freedom of speech...what hope the rest of us. The candidates they dropped were all saying reasonable things many people on the street say in quite corners. No questions on the awful "one in one out" policy. This is economising the problem at best and it plain won't work at worst and probably fuels the problem. I heard him sat "we are the only party to have XYZ policy" this isn't true at all! Many parties have the same policies some better! For instance the SDP will have a proper freeze on migration for 30 or more years.
