The common thread in all of this as I hear it is this: Graduate this, Graduate that, Graduate other...Graduate, graduate, graduate. On and on...so the problem appears to be being bred and buttered in the academic spheres. I have 2 things to say on this. 1. What is going on in academia and why isn't the right pushing back there as strongly as the left clearly does? 2. Looking back at Soviet Russia, the first people to get sent to cold places with no shoes were the academics. Are these people suicidal? Do they think they'll be left alone somehow by constantly poking the majority with this? Pat on the back maybe and forgiven, forgotten? I'm not sure this is the end result.

@Liam Robinson it's an upper middle class thing. I used to see the same thing all the time with a lot of the officers in Forces as a NCO. They try to sound "edgy" and "out of the box" about really simple things I remember once for example being at a child protection training meeting one time, there was this dopy fool of a female nursing lieutenant who decided that if a child told her in confidence that they were being touched by someone, that she would ... in her words..."keep the child's secret". She then spent 10 minutes trying to justify this to the trainer and the dumbfounded soldiers around her. This is the same foolish idiocy.
