  1. Very well said Peter. The point about how government CAN change things with the example of the pandemic is particularly cogent. As for brexit betrayal, it was and continues to be, a stain on the democracy this country apparently stands for.

  3. Oh they do plenty of things under the hood that we never hear about. For instance since July the term Illegal Migrant is not being used to describe the gang in the boats. The home office are apparently now describing them as "Arriving passengers" so as to make them indistinguishable from regular movement. The point being that there is no disconnect, they do, or at least the home office, do understand the connection.

  5. They may be little different but if nothing else a shift in the vote might focus minds in the HQs of labour and tory. They either see the shift and act properly or they double down and risk it all.
