The Leadership, be it Government, charity, corporate, religious, institutional, are all infected with people that believe the world exists "as one". The sad fact is this in an idea that is hundreds of years away trying to be brought about in the Now. Aside from elements of the west, the vast majority of the world is nothing like "at one" with the rest of the world and has no intention of being for a very long time. In the matters of economic, cultural, religious, military etc, this is so.

The recent report into the grooming gangs tells me much about how captured our society has become. It absolutely hit me how SILENT something like the feminist movement have been over the industrialised, mass desecration of our young women in some of the most deprived areas of the country. Utterly silent. Mute. Yet they'll be out in force for other similar issues usually in other countries. Hundreds of thousands of girls abused over decades and yet...nothing from the one movement that should have been there with the placards.
