  1. I think Ireland and its struggle is very important. It is quite literally a sharp shock, real time example of the things which have crept in largely unnoticed for decades in the UK. If resistance to that nasty form of globalisation, mass migration, and draconian laws implemented with nary a thought to the unintended consequences can be shown to be a success, then it might kick start something in the UK and beyond.

  3. Met William at the NCF conference in Birmingham, he is a grand fella, in stature and mannerisms. Very thoughtful and intelligent. The problem I have with the SDP is this: I only have William to judge it by. The rest of any potential leadership could be crazy for all I know. I haven't seen any that spring to mind so far.
