  3. Ireland being a first world high wage economy has been used for years as a "testbed" for mostly technological ideas. If a technology fails in this economy the small population size is perfect for considering if it will work in much larger similar economys but much less devasting if it failed. The idea now seems to be do this with LAWs. The fight in Ireland against these laws is important everywhere, if it happens in Ireland....its coming for you!
