It's a terrible decision but I can only assume that the Defence made their case and the prosecution didn't or hadn't thought to put much effort into the prosecution relying on common sense to prevail. Sadly these days are not for common sense, we are driven along by other, more affluent peoples need "to do the decent thing" by the standard they assume decent.

  3. I suppose it's worth asking why a counter protest wasnt organised to prevent this damage. The answer seems simple, not enough in society care about these things anymore.
