What Samantha Smith is trying to say here with the incredible difficulty in having a debate on mass immigration is simple... the people who want this immigration weaponised the concept of Decency and compassion many years ago. Born out of a real need for those things, it's now turned into the strongest weapon they have. Hence any debate is seen as INdecent and UNcompassionate. We have been programmed very effectively in the west to not be seen as those things, even if it costs us our way of life, our livelihoods, or in many cases our lives.

  2. Except we didnt vote for it at all. At no point do I remember either the Tories or labour putting anything into any of their manifestos to increase the numbers of people coming here, let alone those coming from the 3rd world with unfriendly attitudes towards Britain. I distinctly remember the recent manifestos to reduce it yet it has accelerated!
