  5. HS2...what a joke of a "national project". Where is the ambition anymore beyond throwing down some railway lines, something we seem to do with relative ease in decades and centuries gone by.

  7. Thats the whole problem with the Tories, as Peter quotes from Sunak "we are a broad church" ... i really detest this saying. As trite as it is, it means their agenda is far too spread with no argeement on almost anything.

  8. It's been too late for years now, conservative party hasn't met any of their manifesto promises that matter to me at least. The biggest disappointment being how they completely misjudged Net Zero, Covid and beggaring the country, all the while going hell for leather packing in immigration legal and illegal. I can't see how they could possibly have failed more tremendously especially with a once in a century majority! I cannot state in stronger terms how utterly dejected I have been with this gang of jumped up, glorified civil servants. Sadly Labour are going to be back in power most likely and with their views things will only get worse on most fronts.

  10. I think Rafe is being unfair about the tory membership (though i havent been one for some time now), the choices given were the choices given! The tory party as a whole chose the ones to vote for in the end and it seemed to me at time its YET ANOTHER case of least bad choice. Rafe disappointing here from you, ought to know better on this one.
