I'm an Irishman that's lived here in the UK for 28 years, I remember my childhood schooling and learning about WW2 and beyond, even in Ireland in the height of the 1970s enormous respect was given to the Queen. She, for me anyway, represented a way thinking, a resilience, a proudness, that these days we seem to be taught to be ashamed of, guilty for, something to be financially, and morally atoned for, till end of days. I say No!
