Marianne Williamson.
It's not only the fact that she can quote the Bible, the Talmud, the Dalai Lama, Martin Luther king, and Nelson Mandela, and tie it all together, and apply it to public policy. It's not only the fact that she knows the history of America at a federal level, she also knows the history state by state, it's that there are no cue cards or prompters! This is all in her head! She remembers it, and can rattle it all off at a moment's notice, because she lives and breathes it. She understands what connects to what, and why it's relevant.
Am I crazy for thinking these are precisely presidential qualities?

@Sleeping_Insomiac Exactly. Death threats, and hate speech have foreseeable consequences. They are actually not even freedom of expression because they're simply an attempt to negate something. I think you run into trouble when you start trying to police symbolism. You think hair curlers and stained nighties promote laziness. I do not. Neither are promoting harm against others either way. I would support someone's right to wear a clown costume and religious items even. If you ask me, the line is where something is directly harmful. I don't consider seeing something a bit strange, as a child, to be harmful. Especially when an effort is made on the part of teachers and parents to explain to children that everyone dresses a bit different because people have different cultures and circumstances. I think it's our job to explain to children what is right in terms of getting along with each other amicably, but not too explain what is right and wrong in terms of personal choices. For society to evolve, children must also be given the space to form their own conclusions.
It terms of what is legislated and what rules are enforced, I think people in authority have no business dictating about style, religion, or aesthetic matters. But the have a responsibility to prevent harm.
There's always going to be debate about what that means, but I tend to think children who are exposed to more varieties of experiences at a young age, come out more informed, within reason of course.
